Epilogue
The world has returned to its normal state, almost. There isn't as much fear, but everyone knows that anything could happen at any moment, just like it had for the past few years.
It's been hard for everyone, especially Marlowe and Avi, but their efforts for fighting through the chaos paid off. Marlowe is back to normal and living happily with Easton, and planning to travel in a few years with Avi and Aiden.
Avi and Aiden have been together ever since they made it to the cure location, and had adopted Nikki whom loves the two very much.
Avi will never forget the man that was like a father to her, since she never really had one.
But everything is fine for now and no one has to worry for their lives.
At the brink of extinction, humans made it through and fought for their precious lives. At the brink of extinction, those who were strong pulled through and now everyone is safe.
No one will forget the time of the apocalypse, but they will learn and adapt from their mistakes.
Avi and Marlowe will always remain in history books yet to come.
