Since his ankle was feeling a lot better, he spent the next three days getting into shape to play the match against Jude. For one reason or another, he found a feeling of excitement at the thought of meeting Jude. He felt as though this was the match that would define his entire career, even though it was only a mere game between internet enemies. He didn't know what it was, but it was beginning to feel like it was more than a FIFA rivalry.

The morning of the challenge he was feeling quite confident. He got up early, went for a jog around the block before returning to his penthouse to shower.

By ten minutes to four in the afternoon, he got in his car and drove to the park which was a thirty minute walking distance from his home, but ten minutes by car. He wanted to be there an hour early to run some practice drills that would ensure he was prepared for the game.

One of the positive outcomes of focusing all his energy on this rivalry was that he had forgotten all about the real World Cup in Brazil. It distracted him from all the miserable thoughts that ran around in his mind, ruining his mood. In some way, he thought he should probably thank Jude, maybe even try to be friends with him, after showboating and basking in the glory of his win for a few days.

For a moment, he was reminded of his ankle and wondered if he could make his injury worse by playing football after just a couple of weeks. For all he knew, the match could turn fiercely competitive and maybe even violent.

Marco told himself everything would be fine.

He thought he would most likely beat Jude easily. There was no way he would accept one more defeat.

Jude arrived at the park a half hour before their meeting was to take place. She wore her Deutschland national team jersey she purchased in order to support the team during the qualifying campaign. It had the name and number of her favorite player on it; Marco Reus.

It was too bad he couldn't go to Brazil after suffering an injury just one week before the start of the tournament. She could only imagine how upset he was about that.

She walked up the small walkway that led further into the park, stopping dead in her tracks when she saw the blonde haired footballer kicking a football around. He wore a BVB training uniform and bounced the football off his knee repeatedly and with ease. It was like she was hypnotized, her eyes were glued to him and she continued to watch as he began to perform a few impressive tricks when he felt he was being watched.

Jude was impressed with his skills.

Marco smiled to himself when he saw her from the corner of his eye. He kicked the ball up in the air and caught it in his hands easily. He turned towards her with a grin and she quickly looked away, feeling the heat of a blush on her face.

Just as Marco was about to approach her and make conversation, she rushed off. She needed to go find that annoying person; Dortmund11.

They hadn't agreed on a specific spot to meet, which proved to be difficult for both of them. But Jude thought she would recognize him when she saw him. She imagined an arrogant looking guy with an annoying face, but she also knew it could be anyone.

She laughed to herself as she thought, 'Just imagine if Dortmund11 turned out to be Marco Reus!' But she quickly shook the thought away.

She didn't think he could ever be a jerk like that.

Jude found a bench nearby to sit and wait for her opponent. It was the perfect place to sit because she could see Marco Reus in the distance without having to crane her neck and looking like a creeper.

For the next hour, the two stole a few glances at each other and occasionally looked at the time. At one point, Jude figured Dortmund11 wouldn't show up and got off the park bench, groaning in annoyance. She wasn't going to let that guy hear the end of it after having made her go to the park for nothing.

Marco watched the beautiful girl storm off looking annoyed.

He wondered why she looked so upset and wanted to go after her, but his desire to meet the person behind his television screen was greater than his desire to meet the beautiful girl. He knew where she worked anyway and it wouldn't be long before he would go back to that cafe and ask her for a date.
