Chapter Seven

Ryder

The Perfect Dress

(Two Months Later)

Bella and I were planning our wedding at my desk, a polished Walnut, with four drawers on each side, but I had cast a spell to make it fit two chairs comfortably, when we heard a knock on the mahogany door,

"Come in," I said to whoever was at the door. The nob turned and Alice walked in and said to Bella,

"Come on, we're picking out a wedding dress." Bella wasn't surprised that her sister was going to be part of her entourage, but little did she know that Alice WAS the entourage.

"Pick out one that Maddy won't barf at when she sees it!!" I called out to them. Three hours later, they came back with an extravagant, slightly pink, lace fit n' flare with pearl embroidering. They asked what I thought, and I did have some speculation to make,

"The lace goes well with the pearls, but I could give my full opinion if you put it on," In about ten minutes they came back and I was absolutely astounded. Her hair was done to look like it was part of the dress. As she twirled, I saw the red streak in her hair poof up, but her hair was done so that the streak was hidden when it fell back down, "It's BEAUTIFUL! I love everything about it! The pink really brings out your eyes, and the fitting is perfect, but, I would prefer it if you would let me see the lock of red hair. It makes you look even more beautiful than you already are." Bella blushed and undid her hair so that it fell down her shoulders, the red beautifully accented against her pale skin.

"That's what happens when you have a one person entourage. Alice picked it and I fell in love at first sight, kinda like when I met you." I didn't realize that her SISTER would pick the perfect dress. After she took it off, it was late, so she got into the bed next to mine and, our hands linked across the small gap between us, drifted into a dreamless sleep. But before I fell asleep, I realized that if the groom sees the dress before the wedding, it's bad luck, but I was too tired to think about it.
