CHAPTER 36: SHIP

W I L L

I was grabbing my books from my locker when I heard Hal's voice making me look at him. The area was noisy but I could still hear his voice or maybe because he just had a loud voice.

"Caleb, weren't you looking for this guy?" Hal said to Caleb and Al was in front of Hal.

He placed his arm on the back of Al's shoulders and I didn't know why it felt strange seeing Hal being close with someone else even though it was just Al.

I turned around to walk to my first class when someone held my wrist making me turn and checked who it was and I was surprised that it was Hal. I just saw him a minute ago with Al and Caleb.

"Hey." Hal greeted.

I wanted to sulk at him but I guess I couldn't. I smiled at him.

"Hal." Was all I could muster.

"Were you expecting someone else?"

I frowned at him. "I wasn't. I was just surprised because I was thinking that you'll do something exactly like this." I could feel my cheeks heating up.

Hal smiled widely and looked at me intently making me feel like melting with his stare.

"Come with me." He pulled me with him to the men's rest room and I felt relieve because no one was there.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he shove me inside a cubicle and locked it.

"Hiding from everyone because I am going to kiss you." He said and he didn't give me time to react. His lips covered mine in a hurry and kissed me as he cupped my face.

I held his arms as I kissed him back, closing my eyes.

Hal pulled away and my cheeks were heating up as I catch my breath but I never left my gaze from his ocean blue eyes.

"We're late." I checked the time and I heard him chuckle.

I felt like cutting class and spend the rest of the day with Hal but of course, I wouldn't do it. I was just thinking.

I placed my hands on top of his shoulders and tip toed up as I pressed our lips in a quick kiss surprising Hal.

"Let's go." I said as I opened the door and went out of the cubicle.

"You're acting so cute today." He said making me turn to him and glared.

"I'm not cute." I said making him chuckle and nodded his head.

I was sitting on the table waiting for Al to buy our lunch. He volunteered to buy while I look for our table to sit.

I was playing on my phone while waiting when Al sat beside me and placed the tray on the table but I frowned because he didn't buy the lunch I said to buy for me making me frown and looked at Al and I was surprised to see Caleb instead and he was grinning at me.

"Will, can I ask you something?" He said.

I looked at him. "What?"

He leaned closer making me lean a little far from him. "What kind of things that Albert likes?"

I raised a brow at him and smiled. "Why? Do you like my friend?"

Caleb snickered. "Am I too obvious about it?"

I snapped my fingers in excitement. "I knew it!"

"So, are you going to tell me what he likes?"

I smiled. "He kept on talking about going to places and do dangerous things." I chuckled. I wasn't into those things.
