Chapter 10: BLANK NOTE

I was busy arranging my locker because I couldn't take it anymore seeing it in a mess and I have a lot of time since I went to school early for no reason.

It was strange because I didn't see any note in my locker. It wasn't like I was looking or searching for it. My locker was just messy.

I grabbed the things I needed and placed it inside my bag when I felt something blew on my nape making me jump and my hairs stood up.

"Hey." Caleb whispered and I almost elbowed him.

"What the hell?" I said and he leaned his hand on the locker next to mine.

"Where's your best friend?" He asked.

"Albert? Why are you looking for him?" I closed my locker and adjust the strap of my bag.

"No reason." He said and I shrugged and started walking to my first class with him.

"You won't look for someone without reason." I said and I heard him chuckled.

"True." He said.

"I think he'll be here after a few minutes." I said and he nodded.

"Thanks." He said and I nodded and watched him ran ahead of me to the stairs.

"Hey."

I jumped when I heard someone greeted behind me. It was Hal.

"Did I scare you?" He asked and I wanted to answer him with sarcasm but I stopped myself and gave him a small smile instead.p

"A little. What's up?"

Of course, I felt a little awkward because I still remember the last time we saw each other. I got to kiss him a lot of times that night and I didn't know why that crazy bottle kept on pointing him.

But looking at him, he looked normal like he forgot everything that happened last night. Or that was just the way they always do things that it start to feel normal to them.

"I have something for you." He said and he pushed his hand in his front pocket. I frowned. "I was late so I wasn't able to place this in your locker and I didn't have time to write anything."

I didn't know what to say when I saw the paper he pulled from his pocket. It was a sticky note and he pulled the first page from the rest and gave it to me.

I didn't move my hands so he pasted it on my forehead and then smiled widely, his blue eyes sparkling.

"Have a nice day." Was all he said and then left me there standing, dumbfounded.

"I had the creepiest weekend."

I jumped when I heard someone talked from behind and it was Albert. I immediately pulled the sticky note from my forehead to hide it from him. Seriously, what's wrong with all of them popping behind and scaring me? But my mind still lingered of the fact that Hal was the one giving me notes.

I think it was a prank. Hal couldn't be the one who leave those quotes everyday like a teen girl would do. A month long prank!

"You scared me." I said and Albert narrowed his eyes to my hand.

"Let me see it. You can't hide that from me." He said and snatched the note from my hand and read it.

"This is what you got for today? Did the app crashed again?" He showed me a blank note and of course, I know it was blank and that Hal just stated a have a nice day to me. That was it.

"Yeah. I guess." I was thinking if I should tell Albert about it. I mean, I wasn't sure if Hal was saying the truth but something inside me says it was the truth and I didn't know why I just accepted that a guy was giving me some cute, inspirational and even romantic quotes every single school days.

How the hell does he knew about it if it wasn't him?

"So, you had the creepiest weekend? Did your grandmother accidentally burned your house?" I changed the topic.

Albert chuckled. "No. My grandmother didn't come. I went to the mall that morning when I called you." He started and I was just nodding my head while listening. "I went to a cafe and then I saw Caleb and he approached me with his girlfriend outside and, god, bro. You wouldn't believe what he did."

I frowned. "Did he punched you?"

"Far worst than that." He said and I deepened the frown on my forehead.

"What?"

Albert was over reacting and it was the first time I saw him like that. "I can't even say it out loud but you have to promise me not to tell anyone."

"Just say it." I said and Andrew looked at me hesitantly.

"He suddenly kissed me." He said in a whisper like voice and I was surprised.

"Seriously? You're lucky it was just Caleb." I said and Albert frowned at me.

"What do you mean?"

"I got to kiss all of them." I said and Albert stopped from walking and gave me a what the hell look.

"What do you mean? I don't understand."

"I didn't know why I agreed to that game but we had a kissing game that Friday night and it seems like I ran out of luck because I got to kiss all of the guys there and not even once with the girls. Dude, not even one of the girls there!" I exclaimed, frustrated.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. I was surprised that kissing a guy has the same feeling of kissing a girl."

"What? Are you still drunk? There's no way it's the same. Why would you play that kind of game?"

"I couldn't do anything. They let me join." I said and poked him when I saw Caleb talking with Jett and I could feel Albert stiffened.

"What the fuck!" He silently exclaimed and dragged me back to our tracks and turned around to reach our room without bumping at Caleb and all of his friends.

No wonder Caleb was looking for Albert.
