" Come on, its been a long time since we've danced together.", saying this, Julia dragged me to the dance floor.

Honestly, I was very happy to see Julia after such a long time.

We've first met in college and became friends instantly. We even tried the dating thing even but it never worked for us.

I don't know for how much time we talked and laughed remembering our old days as we danced, when I realized that Rachel must be waiting.

With Julia, I started looking for Rachel. Not being able to find her, I spotted dad," Have you seen Rachel, dad?"

"Yes! She left 20 mins ago, son!"

"She left?"

He nodded.

Disappointed, I turned around to see Julia standing there with some unreadable expression.

"What?", I asked her.

"You like her, don't you?"

"Yeah!", there is no point of lying to her. She knows me enough to tell when I'm not being honest.

"But why will she leave without saying goodbye?", I asked again.

She smiled," Maybe because she saw you on the dance floor, laughing with some other girl."

"What?"

This time she laughed," Idiot! I mean maybe because she was jealous after seeing you with me."

Jealous? No, Rachel is too mature to be jealous on such small things.

"I don't think so J!"

"Oh darling! Love makes us insecure."

Is it true? Can she be jealous?

The next morning, my first stop was Watson Enterprises.

After greeting Rachel's secretary, I made my way towards her office.

"Come in.", came her voice after I knocked.

Pushing her door open, I saw her sitting behind her table reading a file.

"Lisa, get me a coffee. My usual, black without sugar.", she said without looking up.

So she thinks I'm Lisa.

"Well I was here to do something else but if you want I can get you coffee too!", I said.

Her eyes snapped towards me.

"What are you doing here?", she asked confused.

"Had an unfinished business and a question for you."

"And that would be?"

"You owe me a dance and I want to know why you left without saying goodbye?", I asked bluntly.

She narrowed her eyes," Well about the dance, I don't owe you anything because you were too busy with a FRIEND to notice my existence and the answer to your second question is also the same."

Her answer brought a smile on my face.

She was jealous.

"What are you smiling at? Am I cracking a joke?", she raged.

Man, she's looks so sexy when she's feisty!

"I'm sorry Rachel. I shouldn't have been so occupied with Julia. It's just I met her after so long-"

"Hold on! Why are you explaining to me? I'm not your girlfriend. You can do anything with anyone for all I care.", she replied before I could finish apologizing.

Oh honey, but you care!

I looked around her office and found a speaker under the television.
I took out my phone and connected it with the speaker.

As I was searching a soft music to play, she spoke," What are you doing?".

I chose to ignore her and continued my search.

She said again," Aaron, I'm asking something."

As the music filled the room, I walked towards her chair.

Her eyes filled with, I don't know, maybe nervousness.

I turned her chair towards me and held my hand out for her.

She fidgeted with the fingers, deciding whether to hold it or not.

Her eyes demanding answers as she looked at me.
"Trust me.", I said as confidently.

I don't know if it was my words or my eyes but she took my hand and stood up.
I took her in front of the table and pulled her close to me, wrapping my hands around her waist.

Automatically, her hands went around my neck.

Having her so close to me feels perfect. Her smell is so welcoming.

In order to get her warmth, I pulled her closer and moved my face towards her neck.

Her grip tightened around my collar,"Wh-what are you doing?"

"Consider it an apology dance.", I whispered in her ear as my nose nuzzled at her earlobe.

I backed off to look at her face. She had her eyes closed and her lips were parted.

Her pink, plump lips were inviting me to kiss her but I didn't want our first kiss to happen this way, I want to make each and every moment in our relationship special because she deserves the best.

We stayed there in each other's arms and swayed with the music till it came to an end.

I removed my hands from her waist only to settle it at the back of her neck after brushing her hair out of her face," You're the best dance partner I've ever had."

With that I kissed her forhead and left.
