Giving up, I took off my jeans and threw it away. Taking a white shirt from Aaron's closet, I wore it on top of my bra and while buttoning it, I came out.
Aaron, who was working on his laptop, looked up and gave me a questioning look.
Ignoring him, I made my way towards the bed and threw myself on it.
"Babe, I thought you were going out with Julia.", Aaron said.
"Not anymore.", I murmured.
"Why not? Did she cancel?"
"Nope, I did."
"But why?"
"Because I'm fat and none of my clothes fit.", I said pointing at my eight-month old baby bump.
"What? Sunshine, you're not fat.", he said.
"Oh yeah, then why are none of my clothes fitting me?", I said with tears in my eyes.
Damn you pregnancy hormones!
Aaron sighed and got up from the couch. He walked towards the bed and sat down beside me.
Running his hands through my hair, he said,"Rachel, you're not fat. You just have a baby inside. Our baby."
"I know that. But I can't go out, I've nothing to wear.", I cried hugging him.
"Come on, I'm sure you'll have something to wear.", he kissed my head and got up to go towards the closet.
After a few minutes, he returned with a light peach colored off shoulder dress.
"Try this."
Reluctantly, I got off the bed. Unbuttoning the shirt, I let it fall on the floor and took the dress from him.
And to my surprise, it actually fit.

"It fit me.", I said excitedly while admiring the dress in the mirror.
"I told you.", he hugged me from the back and placed his palms on my bump.
"I love you both.", he said while kissing me on the neck.
"We love you too."
After this, Aaron dropped me in the cafe where I was meeting Julia and then went to office.
Julia and Jasper got married three months ago and completely settled in New York. Julia launched her fashion brand, J's Choice, a month after the wedding.
