"There is a champaign for women empowerment. The organisers want you to deliver a speech at the event.", Lisa said while looking at her iPad.

"I don't understand why people make requests about these things. I'm a business woman, not some motivational speaker. Tell them no.", I said with irritation dripping from my voice.

Nodding, she continued,"You haven't sent any donations to The Smile Chain Orphanage this year."

"Right! I completely forgot. Order enough toys and kid's books and send it to the orphanage along with a cheque a fifty thousand dollars."

She nodded again,"Just one last thing. Mr Jack Walker called again this morning. He insisted on singing the deal with one million."

"How long will it take for that man to understand a simple thing. I'm not constructing his buildings in any amount less than five million. Ask him to take it or leave it."

"Okay."

"That's all?"

"Yes. Do you need anything?", she asked closing her iPad.

"No. Just inform my when it's 5."

The rest of the afternoon was spent between official files and data.

When the clock hit 5, Lisa informed me but I was determined to finish the last file which made me late. And that is the reason why I'm speeding my car to reach home soon.

Inserting the key in the keyhole hurriedly, I thud opened the door and rushed towards my room for a quick bath.

By the time I was in my closet getting in my dress, it was already five minutes to six.

Thank God I'd already picked the outfit in the morning!

I decided to leave my hair natural and for the make-up, I just applied a little blush, mascara (cause that's my uniform) and decided to finish it with some pink lips

While struggling with my stelitoes, I called my driver to get the car ready.
Grabbing my clutch, phone and other essentials, I made my way towards the elevator.
