I stared out the car window, Caiden looking around nervously.
"C-Cameron, what if these guys are bad?" He whispered.
"Nah, I think they're fine."
"C-Cameron! Not so loud!"

Percy chuckled from the front, making Caiden go red.
"It's good to be alert, but we aren't 'as you would say' bad."
"Oh" Caiden mumbled, bright red.
I just snickered "So, where are we goin?"
The Leo guy just laughed.
"Where all awesome people go!"
"Half blood camp... But mortals like you can't enter sooo."

"Who are you callin mortal!?"
Percy laughed "You."
"I'm not a mortal! I have powers!"
"Oh really?"
"Yeah! I can talk to animals and plants."
Percy gasped dramatically "I can talk to fish and horses."

Instant connection activated.

Me and Percy started talking about about how rude some animals can be, then onto how they all have different accents depending on where they are from.
The girl driving looked... Bored... Like Caiden.
Leo made little comments the whole drive, sometimes poking Caiden.

"Seaweed brain, we'll be there in... About 3 days, give or take."

"Great! You guys just chill back there."
Caiden swallowed "B-but why are we even here?"
"... Caiden, your... A demigod."
I gasped "Like in Greek Mythology and Roman Mythology! With the Gods and cool creatures! Like that!?"
He gave an amused chuckle, turning to look at me.
"Yup, I'm the son of Poseidon... And Caiden would be my brother."
"Oh cool!"

But Caiden looked sick.
"I-I don't wanna be a Demigod! I wanna be normal!"

"Yup, most of us do."

"B-but it's not fair! I don't want powers! I don't want any of... THIS!"
Leo scoffed "Hurtful."

I was about to interject when the car suddenly got rammed, causing us all to scream.

Percy just groaned "Not again."

"Michael, we've looked everywhere."
"Caiden's mother isn't even at home."
Michael sighed, pacing the kitchen.
The twins watched sadly, wanting their brother back.

"Okay, we need a new plan... Search the whole world."
Michael rubbed his forehead "What if someone kidnapped him?"
"Did Hatch survive!? What if–."
Taylor pulled him into a hug, trying to calm him.
His tics were still present, but a bit better.

"Okay, okay... I'm just worried."
Jack frowned but didn't comment, wondering where the boy had run off to.
"... Michael, I have a plan."

Michael nodded "What is it Jack?"
"... I might have put a tracker on him when I first found him... So it should still be there."
"Jack! You put–."
Taylor stopped Michael from arguing with a hand over his mouth.
"That's great Jack."

Michael gave a small nod once Taylor removed her hand from his mouth.  "Yeah, let's use the tracker."
Jack grinned "I knew we'd need it someday."

"Yeah yeah, let's just get my son back."
