"Sup?" I walked into the living room.

"What is she doing here?" Oh look, it's the rude red head.

Roy if you couldn't figure that out.

"Jest!" I was tackled by my little birdie.

"Rob, why do you do this every time you see me?" I laughed.

"Cause for once your dad isn't trying to convince you to kill me."

True...

"I'm gonna go take a nap." I picked up Rob and started towards my room.

"It's ten in the morning." Roy crossed his arms.

"Let it go. She's not the best with keeping a sleep cycle."

"Says the one who broke into my house at midnight!" I called over my shoulder.

"Really?" Rob questioned. "Also, put me down."

"Nope." I pushed open my door and dropped him on my bed.

"You just did."

I sighed and sat beside him, running my fingers through his hair.

"What's wrong?" He looked up at me.

"Nothing...just stuff from my past...plus family issues."

"Like...?"

"A cousin who constantly tries to set me up." I groaned and laid down, throwing an arm around the younger boy.

I'm so glad Aphrodite gave me my sunglasses...not so glad with the top and skinny jeans but...

Better than short shorts.

"With who?"

"Some boys I know..."

"Maybe you should give it a chance."

I chuckled. "Yeah...sure if I want to forever regret it."

He moved to sit on my stomach. "Come on...who do you like? Junior?"

"No, that's gross. That'd be like me dating you." I reached up and poked his cheek.

"Then who?" He tilted his head.

"You know, I could kill you."

"Yeah, but you won't. So tell me!"

There was a knock on my door before it slowly opened inward. "Jester? Megan has made cookies...again. Do you want some?"

"No thanks Kaldur."

"Okay. I am...going to go now..."

As he closed the door, Rob grinned. "So... Kaldur?"

I sat up so our glasses were an inch apart.

"Stop."

"Well, I mean-"

"Rob listen. I can't...I can't deal with getting close...not again." My voice wavered.

He sighed and pulled me into a hug. "I've got you. You can do anything. So come on, it's not like he'd hurt you or anything."

"But if he gets hurt because of me..." I mumbled.

"Shush. He's an awesome fighter. Plus if your dad let you date any hero it would be him."

He paused. "Now come on. Let's go get some cookies."

Later...

All your fault...
