"Vin?"
Altheah blurted out when she saw Vin coming out from his car. Kanina pa siya lutang na naglalakad lakad at kanina pa nya pinipigil ang luha niyang nagbabadya nanamang bumagsak.
Matapos niyang lumabas sa unit ni Zayne ay naglakas lakad lamang ito saka sumakay ng taxi patungo kung saan. Dinala lamang siya ng mga paa sa unibersidad kung saan sila nag aral noon.
Althea just stared at it for quite some time then just walked away till she reached red cafe were they used to hang out in, back in their last year of college.
"It's been a month Vin..."
Tipid itong nginitian ni Altheah nang sabihin niya iyon. Na ginantihan rin naman ni Vin ng tipid na ngiti.
"Can we talk?"
Vin asked her. Altheah sighed as she nod her head.
"We should."
Nagkatanguan pa sila saka nagpasyang pumasok ng magkasama sa tapat na cafe upang mag usap.
They ordered first then sat on the vacant seat.
"Sorry Vin I don't think kaya ko----"
"I'm sorry, I couldn't continue---"
Sabay pa nilang saad na nagpatigil sa dalawa.
"I just wanted to say that I will stop pursuing you. I think you deserve a better man who could take you seriously and treat you right and would love you and care about you."
Vin stated.
"And you can't be a better man for me?"
She asked making Vin stop, Altheah chuckled.
"Hey I'm joking."
Altheah smiled. Sa totoo lang ay wala naman talaga siyang balak na sagutin ito pero dahil makulit ito noon ay pinagbakasyon niya muna sa mental.
"You can only be a better man for the right woman. Someone who could make you feel like you wanted to be the best version of yourself."
She stated sincerely making Vin smile.
"Yeah...she did, but I messed it all up."
He responded and closed his eyes looking bothered.
"You're not a bad person Vin, You didn't really did anything but annoy me. You didn't force me on anything I don't like, and even treated me with respect."
She stated. Nagpatuloy lamang ang dalawa sa pag uusap habang kumakain.
She's somehow glad that Vin is now willing to change for the woman he loves.
But she don't think Zayne will...
"Alam mo nung nanliligaw ka saakin naiirita lang ako sayo. Well I tried to fall for you but I just couldn't, bukod kasi sa babaero at gago ka ay mukang hindi mo naman talaga ako gusto. And finally karma, arrived and here you are! I feel honored to see you all frustrated and troubled you are right now."
Altheah shook her head as she grinned.
"You look emotionally tired, may problema ba?"
Tanong nito.
"Love sucks,maswerte ang babaeng iyon kasi mahal mo sya. But in my case? Akala ko naka move on na ako sakaniya....Akala ko lang pala."
Altheah said bitterly while clenching her fists...
