Cheaper By The Dozen

11th April 2041 (Lexi 14 weeks and 5 days)

Brax's POV (pic of Emerson)

"Jax, get your butt in here." I shouted from the kitchen as I tried to get the lunches organised for school. I had my eyes on Alex and Maddox as they sat at the table eating their breakfast, while Lex was up getting Xahlia dressed for school. My little five month old TrixiBelle was here in the kitchen chewing on a piece of crust as she sat in her high chair. It's just another normal morning in our house, and I love it.

"Dad, does this look good?" Jax asked as he walked in and ruffled Trixi's hair as she watched his every move. I looked with a frown to see him in a pair of faded jeans and a light blue button up shirt and his hair was gelled and spiked. For eight years old he's already growing up so fast and he's already so tall, he'll be taller than his Nanna soon. Mum is not happy about that, where I find that very amusing.

"Yeah, but shouldn't you be wearing your uniform?" I asked, that school is super tight on their uniform laws and I am not up for a visit to the principal today. I know that Georgie tries to relax them in her class but she still has to have them looking at their best. It's cool having my future sister in law as his teacher, at least I can ask her how he's going without going into that dreaded parent teacher interview. I just hope her replacement is just as good for when she goes on maternity leave.

"It's casual day today." he said as he shrugged his shoulders, he is growing up too fast. I feel so old thinking that my baby boy is getting older, soon he'll be wanting to bring a girl home and then moving out and starting his own life. I really need to stop thinking things like that. It makes me feel sad, but I'm so glad Lex and I have had heaps of babies so we get to experience everything more than once. I can't wait until the newest addition arrives, we'll have six kids and the youngest two will not even be a full year apart in age.

"Dressing up for your girlfriend?" I chuckled and got the normal groaning from my son, I love stirring him up. I looked closely and noticed the soft pink tinge to his cheeks before he grabbed his breakfast and sat down with his brothers.

"Jax has a girlfren, Jax has a girlfren." Alex started to sing as his older brother sat down beside him. Maddox was just looking at them while shoving his face with food, now he definitely belongs to me. I chuckled as the two older boys started bickering back and forth about Jax's 'girlfriend'. I know who he likes and if he's anything like me, in which he is, Cooper and Jazzie better lock their daughters up. Actually anyone's daughter that has my son in their class is not safe from his charms.

"I wish you'd stop saying that, you always set Alex off." Lex scolded me as she walked in with my six year old princess Xahlia. My baby girl is in a pretty dress with her hair braided, a little mini Lexi she is, and she too is growing up to fast as well. She's going to be seven in a couple of months, time goes way too fast.

"It's true, you know that." I grinned and pulled my wife into me and wrapped my arms around her waist. My hands spread out across her small bump where our baby is, we are still praying that the next lot of tests on the baby come back clear. We are still unsure of what is actually wrong so that is why Lex will be going for an amnio in a couple of weeks. Now that test itself is scary as it can cause miscarriage, I just want my baby healthy but if they're not, we will still love them all the same.

"I know, did he tell you that he kissed a girl named Taylah last week when they were playing some kiss chasing game?" she whispered as we looked at our kids as they enjoyed their food, the boys now quiet. This is definitely the best thing I've ever done, made lots of gorgeous babies that I love to the moon and back.
