My Brother's Best Friend *Editing*

Chapter 2

We stepped off the plane, and there they stood. The four hottest guys ever. The screams of girls filled my ears and I couldn't help but smile. They probably wished they were me right now...

They ran over to me and each gave me a huge hug. "Emily!" They all screamed. The four boys let go of me and hugged Zayn with the same happiness as when they hugged me. We all hurried and got in the car before anymore girls came to try to gets pictures or things signed.

I sat by Liam and as we caught up, I could tell something was missing in his normally overly happy personality. He wasn't himself.

We got back to the hotel that we were staying at. Thankfully, no girls were here but sooner or later, they were going to find out where we were staying and surround the place.

We got out of the car and hurried into our rooms which were on the top floor. Hopefully, it would avoid as much noise and being caught as possible. I could see from the hotel front desk, that the man behind the counter was pretty happy that we were here because of the money we paid, but upset because of the noise level. We decided to turn on a movie to help unwind. We choose Batman. Yup, we're all huge superhero fans. Batman was mine and Liam's favorite. In the middle of the movie, Liam said "Emily can I talk to you?"

"Yeah," I said. I was a little upset because like I said, Batman was my favorite movie but talking to Liam was probably better. I choose him over most things.

We got up and left the room. We walked out, into the sitting room and sat ourselves down on a bench. We were alone.

"What's up?" I asked. I could see the sadness in his eyes. He missed Danielle; I could tell.

He broke down crying. "She left. How could she leave me so easily.We've been through so much." He said as he let out the sobs he was holding in.

I grabbed him and gave him a hug trying not to cry myself. I didn't say anything for a while I just let him cry.

After a while he stopped crying and looked up at me. wiped away the tears that were left on his face. 

"You don't need her anyway there is someone better out there for you"I smiled.

"Thanks Emily"He hugged me agian.

"Whenever you need to talk, I'm here," I said smiling back. We walked back in the room and sat down. All of them looked at Liam and I. Suddenly, I felt a hot flash rising to my cheeks. I was blushing; I'm sure of it. "What?" I asked sitting down next to Niall, acting as if nothing happened.

"Nothing."He shook his head at me and turned back to the movie. I soon fell asleep, snuggled up to Niall.

"WAKE UP!!" All five of them were screaming at me, laughing loudly in my ear. I looked up and saw all of their faces.

"Nice way to wake a sleeping girl," I said but I couldn't help but smile.

"Come on, we've got a big day ahead of us."Louis told me They got up, They left laughing as they went to go eat breakfast. Liam was still standing there smiling his goofy smile.before handing me a plate of pancakes

"Thanks," I smiled.before he got up and walked away. I put the plate on the table before getting up.

Why can't I have him? I stared at him while he was talking to his four best friends. He looked so perfect. Liam turned to me and smiled. I smiled back walking over to where they were standing.

"Emily what do you want to do?" Zayn asked, taking a bite of his waffles

"Well I want to go shopping. Any good malls around here?" I answered.

"Yeah, we'll leave as soon as you get ready," Zayn said, grinning.

"We can't come," Harry said. "We are going to a game."

"Aw, well okay, maybe we could go to dinner together," I suggested. The boys agreed. I ran into the bathroom and got my clothes on in world record time.

Zayn and I jumped in the car and left for the mall while the rest of them went to the game.

"So how are things with you and Liam?" Zayn asking, trying to make conversation.

"I know it sounds crazy, but I think I'm in love with him but he doesn't like me back... I can tell" I said.

Zayn started talking but I wasn't really listening. I was thinking about the first time I met the him and how I almost fainted. Then that night he kissed me and we told each other everything. But the next day him and Danielle got together. I was absolutely devastated and I cried like forever. Zayn hated Liam for hurting me but I'm also happy it happened because that's when I got close to Harry. We've been best friends ever since then.

"Emily," Zayn said bringing me out of my day dream. "We are here."

Several hours later we left the mall with more clothes I could carry and got back in the car to go to dinner  with the rest of the boys. We soon got back to the hotel but when I went to go sit down on the couch I saw someone I thought I was never going to see again. It was Danielle.
