I looked in the mirror at myself.

"Not to shabby," I whispered.

I was wearing my dark washed jeans with my light pink Hollister t-shirt. It looked fine with my grey Nike sneakers. My dark red hair was up in it's usual pony-tail. My dark brown eyes looked fine with a lot of my black mascara and my light pink lip gloss. I just got off a long plane ride. How I looked was fine by me. I grabbed my white zip-up sweatshirt in case it got chillier later. I put some money and my iPhone in my pocket as well as my key and I walked into Kara's room.

As usual she looked like she was ready to walk down the runway. She wore skinny jeans with a white baby-doll tank and a navy cardigan. Her red heels were to die for. I'm so glad we're the same size. She also had her brown hair up in a messy bun. She looked so adorable, and I never understood how her make-up is perfect. She'll have to teach me the tricks again.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yup, let's go. I'm starved!" Kara grabbed her phone, key, and money off her dresser.

"I know, me too."

We got into the elevator and pushed the ground floor button. I never really liked elevators. Kara knew it. She saw there were mirrors on all the walls in this elevator. Kara came up with the idea to take pictures to distract me. Kara and I took a photo together in the elevator to pass the time. It was the first picture of our adventure in London. I posted it on facebook and then the elevator doors finally opened.

We hopped out of the elevator and waved to Meg and Henry. Through the doors and out of the hotel we walked down the crowded street of London. The architecture was so beautiful. Even though it was muggy outside (it is London) everything was so nice.

We walked down the cobblestone sidewalk, trying not to trip, because we were clumsy. We were so amazed at what we saw, that we almost passed right by Starbucks.

I almost walked past the familiar door right before I smelled hazelnut coffee. I know what I'm having. I grabbed Kara's hand and pushed her through the door.

"Whoa!" She yelped. "Oh,"

"Oh, this is a tiny Starbucks. Like half the size in America." I said.

Right when you walked in you either went left, to the counter to order, or right, to go sit down and hang out. It was the typical brown and green Starbucks just like in America except, it was tinier. We decided to get our food first since there wasn't a long line.

While we were waiting in line we discussed what we were getting. I was getting hazelnut coffee with a cookie. Kara was getting french vanilla coffee with a brownie.

We ordered and paid. We went to sit down and eat our snack. We were talking about plans for the night.

"We should probably just walk around a little and find something to take back to the hotel for dinner." I suggested.

"That's a good ideaaa-ah- OH MY GOD!"

"WHAT!" I asked as I whipped my head in the direction Kara was looking.

"IS THAT THE BOYS?!"Kara screamed.

I looked and I saw curly brown hair. I was about to say yes until the man turned around and it was NOT Harry Styles.

I turned around and looked at her and we couldn't help but laugh. The face was nothing like Harry's, and kind of dreadful.

"Everywhere I look I think I see them but it's not them. I feel like I'm hallucinating." Kara said sheepishly.

"So I'm not the only one, eh?" I said, "I turn a corner and I have to look twice at some people. It might be because we're tired. It's been a long day and, our eyes are looking for something we want to see."

"I guess so."

"How about we walk around, get dinner and watch the tele back at our flat?" I asked trying to imitate a British accent.

"Sure thing!" Kara added.

We couldn't help but laugh. We didn't really have good accents.

**** Back At The Hotel

We ended up finding a McDonald's a few blocks down. We walked around before heading back and picking up dinner from there. I got the chicken mcnugget mighty kids meal (I got an avengers toy) while Kara got the hamburger meal. Not a bad dinner for your first night in a new country.

We were watching the T.V. when I got an idea.

"How about tomorrow night we have some fun?" I asked.

"What do you have in mind?" Kara said.

"What if we go to a club!?" I offered.

Kara looked surprised. "We aren't old enough."

"In the UK you only have to be 18. I'm not saying get drunk or anything but go dancing!"

"That sounds like fun. Plus some guys aren't that bad lookin'..." Kara winked.

"I see whatcha mean sista..." I laughed and winked back.

"WAIT!" Kara protested.

"What?"

"We have nothing to wear! I didn't pack for clubbing!" Kara panicked.

"We'll just spend the afternoon shopping then." I said.

"OK. Good, because I want to look good," Kara added.

"Me too. We'll have an early start so we can get outfits. I also want to straighten my hair maybe, put on good make-up..." I trailed off making a list in my mind of what I have to do.

"Hey! Remember the rules now, Jordan," Kara said imitating our mothers, she put on a serious face, wagged her finger, and changed her voice to the perfect pitch while continueing the imitation, "No talking to strangers, no tattoos, and no getting pregnant or married. Do you understand?"

"Yes Mother." I replied.

We couldn't help but laugh. It was so good to be with my best friend just joking around, talking about fashion and hot guys.

After the show was over we chatted for a bit before deciding to turn off the TV for an early night. It was a long day and we wanted to get an early start for the next night.
