Emilys POV 

I was more awake when I felt charlisle's hands on my arm." Who did this to you?" he asked.  " I- i don't know, she wasn't a keeper" I stated. He nodded. I couldn't keep my mind off of Jacob. He couldn't be dead.

" Charlisle, is Jacob d-"

" Emily"

I looked up. My eyes met Jacobs warm brown ones. " Jacob? "

He pulled me in his arms. " I'm so sorry" he stated. I broke down. " I thought you were dead, I heard you" I stated through my tears.

" I'll be back" Charlisle stated. I nodded. I sat back on the bed. I just enjoyed Jake holding me. My head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat. " I thought you were dead. Gone forever" he stated. I wrapped my arms around him and held him closer. If that were possible. He kissed the crown of my hair.

" Your never leaving my sight again" He stated. I nodded. I turned around and crashed my lips on his. I rapped my hand around his neck. He pulled me closer than what I was before. I pulled away and hugged him. I missed him so much. For the time I thought he was dead. I wanted to die too.

I sat in his lap as Charlisle cleaned my arm. Stung really bad. But I knew I couldn't get an infection. I held Jakes hand and squeezed it when the pain tingled through my arm. I looked up at the door when it bursted open. I felt Jake tense up as Ren pulled me into a hug.

" Where have you been?" I asked. " We were partolling in Canada." he stated. " Who did this to you, what did they want?" he asked sitting next to Jake and I.

" I don't know who it was, She had grey eyes. Really grey" I said swallowing hard. " She demanded I tell her where you and your pack were" I stated. Jakes whole body tensed.

" I lied and told her I didn't know" I stated. " You lied to protect him?" Jake asked standing up. " Jake-"

"No, forget it" he said storming out. I sighed getting up. " Thanks Emily" Ren said pulling me into a hug. I nodded running after Jake. I hated this. He didn't trust me. Finally after I found him he didn't speak.

" I would have done it for you in a heart beat" I stated. He didn't look at me though. " Why were you going to let her kill you?" he asked. " I thought you were dead, I wanted to die too" I stated. He turned towards me. " Why?" he asked tears in his eyes.

" Because I love you, I didn't want to live if I had to loose you" I stated.

" Why don't you trust me?" I asked making him look at me. " I do trust you, I just don't trust him" he stated.

" He let me go, so I could be with you" I snapped.  He stayed quiet.  " I don't understand" I mumbled walking away. " Just remember Jake, when no one was there for you, I was" I stated.

" Emily" he said calmly

" Just stop ok" I stated.

I didn't know how much longer I could do this. It hurts too much to think Jake didn't trust me. But I knew it would hurt more If I wasn't with him. I needed him. But I couldn't do this.

" I'm sorry Jake"
