Author's Note

I've done this once and I was relieved yet sad that this series was over. But now that this really is the end, I feel more sad than ever.

I really thought that This Means War was going to be the last book (those that have been here since the beginning remember when there was only supposed to be five books). But then I read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and I was like, "Okay, one more book won't hurt."

I lied. It hurts so much.

While I will still write one-shots about her, not being able to come back to work on this series will feel weird. Many people know that this series means a lot to me as well as Max. She came to me a long time ago as some character I came up with for other stories, long before I joined Wattpad and definitely before she finally became Harry Potter's twin sister. She's the one that shaped my writing and Wattpad career.

I've spent six years writing this series and it's been a crazy six years at that. From the late nights, the tragedies I went through, the stress (y'all, at one point, I had to write with ONE hand after breaking my collarbone and having surgery on it), all the way to the times I was getting into my Drax feels, it was all worth it.

So, Maxine (she would kill me for using her real name), thank you for being you. Thanks for sticking by me when I needed you. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Now since this is the last book in the series (FOR REAL this time), I would like to give a few shoutouts:

Audrey, aka arty_writes, I don't even know where to begin with you. You've given me so much support for this series and I've rambled on and on about it and you were there when I wasn't able to write at all. I can't thank you enough for it. Every comment that you gave in the chapters always made me smile. Thanks, girl! Love you! <3

Suad, aka (well, not anymore) @TheWorstIntentions, this series wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for you. I remember those ideas for the series that we wrote down during lunch in our sophomore year. In fact, I still have those ideas and I used every single one of them. If you hadn't helped me with that, this series wouldn't even be here right now. Thank you so much! <3

Bri, aka shirochi, thanks for letting me rant about this series to you whenever we saw each other. You really liked Drax a lot, lol. XD

Kayla, aka XMrsStephenKingX, you are amazing. There are times where I think you ship Drax way more than I do, and your love for Max made my heart smile. Thank you sooo much for supporting Drax! <3
