Chapter 15

Dean and I woke up at 12 in the afternoon. I walked to my bag grabbed a pair of clothes and went in the bathroom to shower. When I was done I did my make up which was another natural smokey eye. I left my hair down and changed into a strapless dress at the top it was a denim blue, the skirt was white with floral designs I put on the pair or brown heels and to top the look off I put on a bunch of gold bracelets and gold earrings. I walked out of the bathroom to see Dean putting on shirt he turned to me and he smirked, "Don't you look hot" he said

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, "Whatever, let's go" I said Dean held his hand out and I took it her intertwined our fingers together and we walked down to the lobby. We went Big City Diner for lunch and we were seated we saw Charlie sitting not to far from us. We ordered our food and would glance at Charlie every once and a while. When we were done Dean and I split the bill and paid for lunch we saw Charlie leave so we followed him. I made sure to keep tabs and gave the information to Dean. 

"Where is he going?" Dean asked

"We're about to find out" I said and we parked our car.

"He's at a zoo?" I asked confused. I sighed and grabbed Dean's hand interlacing our fingers and bringing his arm around my shoulders. We entered the zoo and spotted Charlie with a women we watched them and figured out that Charlie was on a date too. We watched him walk away with his girlfriend we followed for a little bit before looking at the different animals. We saw them looking at the birds we walked towards them, "Charlie?" I said he turned and smiled

"Hey you're that couple that I met last night" he said with a smile

"Yeah" I said

"This is my girlfriend Katie" we nodded our heads in her direction and I looked at Dean. He looked down at me and said, "Let's continue"

"It was nice seeing you again Charlie" I said and waved before we walked away. We looked at the rest of the animals and got somethings to eat before we left. We went and got bubble tea then went back to the hotel I didn't bother with changing my outfit because we were going to leave the hotel in a little bit anyways. I touched up my make up, sprayed on some perfume, put on some lotion and reapplied deodorant. We left the hotel and went to Cheesecake factory for dinner.

We were sat down at a table. It was the normal silence for us but tonight Dean broke it, "Look I know we started off on the wrong foot the first time we met but you're not bad. We should get to know each other while we're here" he said gently

"I don't think I should tell you anything" I said with a cold tone

"I know that you're keeping in contact with your gang" he said looking me dead in the eye my eyes widened a little and my guard went up, "How did you know?" I whispered harshly towards him

"The way you talked to Garret the first night we met. It was obvious to me but the boys don't know and everyone in our gang is under the impression and believes that you actually betrayed Enrique" he said leaning back in his chair and folding his arms across his chest

"What are you gonna do then? Call me out, tell the gang?" I said with no fear in my tone

"No they don't need to know I'm good at hiding things besides I know that you know that my boss killed your parents"

"How?" I asked confused

"I was there when he murdered them. The boss, me and Hector were there. You look like your Mom matter of fact she looked at both me and Hector with pleading eyes to help her. I wanted to you but I never got the chance to." he said looking down before he could continue our food came and we ate. I wanted to know more and I think Dean would give me my answers. When we finished our food he paid and we went back to the hotel.

I changed into comfy clothes after a relaxing shower and waited for Dean I wanted answers and I needed to know about my parents death. He came out of the bathroom with sweats and no shirt he sat next to me, ran a hand through his hair and sighed, "Sheri I'm really sorry about your parents. I didn't think that the boss would kill them right away I thought that if he gave them time to suffer than I could save them but I couldn't" he whispered

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I want to help you. I've been trying to leave this gang and join Enrique's for while I just never had the chance" he sighed

"What's your bosses name?" I asked him

"Sebastian Domingo" he said

"Thank you" I said before getting off the bed and standing outside on the balcony. I rested my arms on the railing and let the conversation Dean and I had soak I felt something wet fall on my arm I looked up thinking that it was rain but it wasn't I touched my cheek and realized that I was crying I didn't try to stop the tears from falling I just let them fall freely I didn't even hear Dean come out until he placed his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and without saying anything he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in for a hug I cried on his chest. 

I felt myself being carried and placed down on something soft something warm was placed on me I was asleep but I figured out that I was on a bed I snuggled into the blankets even more before I heard a good night. I let out a sigh and focused on going back to sleep.
