And the night bleeds into the sky
blending black and blue into orange
and the moon seems to shine a little less bright
and the stars burn in the sky, trapped in the vast inky expanse
and the grey clouds form a canopy above me
the scarred moon tries to offer solace
but my tears fall and glitter on the pale canvas anyways
and sobs tear themselves free of the prison of my throat
And all I can see is you
you in the stars, a new yet a constant constellation
your soft smile in the moon
your incomparable beauty in the heavens above
I look up for solace
but see the stars burn
as silver droplets glitter
and sobs erupt from this mouth I dedicated to you
