the stars, the moon
twinkle for us
the music in our ears
is for our midnight dance
laughing because our dance
has no sequence
closed eyes and soft smiles
and enjoying each others presence
We spin, we trip
we talk, we smile
the music is long over
but the silence is our orchestra
my hand in yours
yours in mine
we twirl and dip
and dance the night away
and eventually the dark fades away
and the moon is replaced
we lay on the bed, hand in hand
and sleep the day away.
