She was tired. So tired of fighting her demons, of holding on, of staying strong. She was empty inside, unable to even cry at this point. People said she was the happiest girl they had ever seen, one with no problems, one who saw beauty in everything and everyone.

But in reality, she was the most broken out of them.

She so badly wanted to let go, to give up. She craved the sweet release of death. They wouldn't care, would they? They would get over it, wouldn't they?

 but could she?

her best-friend, her one constant, her rock, the only reason she didn't end herself long ago.

She had to live for her. For her, if not anyone else. She made her happy didn't she?

Her laugh, her smile, how she made her happy. She wouldn't let go, She couldn't.

So she stood up, and walked out of the house to her with the promise that she can be happy, she will be happy.

She will make sure of it.
