I stand beneath the starry sky
under the moonlight
alone but not lonely
enjoying the solidarity
The music plays softly in my ears
and my feet moved to the beat
the grass beneath them wet with death
the air kisses my bare skin softly
I don't need anyone to complete me
I don't need anyone to love me
I'm alone but not lonely
And I like it that way
The trees sway gently
the stars twinkle merrily
Oh, with all this beauty
I'm in no need of human love
The words on the page are dear to me
The smell of old books and coffee
is better alone
The wonders of this world can be appreciated alone
I need no human to love
the stars are enough
Oh, I may be alone but I'm not lonely
I'm just enjoying my solidarity
