And it breaks my heart
to know you make me stronger
While you slowly fall apart
I knew it was a lie
When you said you were fine
So I try my best
To make you smile
I try to make you laugh
As you read my words

You can confide in your own time

It's okay if you want to be alone

And I know out don't like long letters
Or sappy confessions
But this time I hope you make an exception

Though you don't say it outright
