AQUAPARK

KATH'S POV

"So ano ba talaga nangyari sainyo ni Quen?" Neil 

"Basta. Wag na natin pagusapan. Nababadtrip lang ako eh. Swimming nalang tayo okay?" Ako

 "Pero bakit nga--AAAJKHREBVFIADNUV" Neil

 "PWE!! PARA SAN YUN?!" tinulak ko kasi si Neil sa pool

 "Ayaw mo kasi manahimik eh." Ako

 "HAHAHA! Nice oooone!" napatingin ako sa nagsalita. I was surprised to see DJ waiting for me to high-five him.

 Ofcourse I high-fived him. Ano ba naman kasi yun, diba? He jumped in the pool and I went to where Miles was.

 "Kita ko yun haha" Mi said while fixing her stuff.

"Si Zharm nga pala nasan?" I asked while looking for food

 "Ah wala daw eh. Kinwento sakin ni DJ na magkaaway daw sila, di daw sila okay." Mi

 "Ahh. Okay. Ano? Tara na, swim na tayo?" Ako

 "Game!" Mi

We went about the day swimming, eating, drinking, and laughing with everyone. There were only around 20 of us but it just felt good that we were all enjoying. No drama at all. By 5 in the afternoon, we had to go home because the pool area was reserved for a party in the evening.

 "Kath, sama ka samin? Inom kami sa BF" Neil

 "Pass na muna ako haha. Nag enjoy na 'ko today" Ako

 "Aww.. Kala ko naman kasama ka! Di narin ako sasama.." Mi

 "Ano ka ba, Mi! Go na! Haha. Sabay na daw kami ni Mark palabas, don't worry!" Ako

 We all said our goodbyes, and as Mark and I were about to go..

 "Kath! Mark! Sabay na ako sainyo palabas ng village." DJ was running to catch up to us

We all recapped our day and laughed about everything that happened while walking. By the time we reached the end of the village, I was supposed to start saying goodbye when Mark had a suggestion.

 "Kain muna tayo Burger Machine!" Mark

 "Hahaha. Pass muna ako. Sige guys una na 'ko! Bye!" Ako

 "Ay Kath, sabay na 'ko sayo!" Mark and I were taken aback when DJ said that

 "Ha? Eh iba daan ni Kath. Diba dapat tayo yung sabay kasi same way tayo? Hahaha!" Mark

 "Ahh.. Kasi.. Hahatid ko pa si Kath! Kath! Pa-tae muna 'ko sa bahay niyo!" DJ

We all just laughed it off and agreed to DJ's request. So we went home, and even walked from my village's entrance to my house. When we got home, dad apparently cooked dinner already.

 "Uy!! Luto ni Tito!! Kain na tayo Kath!!" DJ

 He immediately sat down and eagerly waited for me to set the table. After we ate, we sat down on the couch to watch cartoons, then we talked about so much. Apparently, we had a lot of catching up to do. In the middle of it all, I suddenly remembered

 "HOY!! AKALA KO BA MAKIKI-TAE KA?! Eh hindi ka pa nag CR simula kanina??" Ako

 "HAHAHA. Cute mo talaga! Excuse ko lang talaga yun Kath. Nandun kasi si Mark kanina. Eh miss lang naman kasi talaga kita!" DJ

 I was about to tell him off when he suddenly started telling me about him and Zharm

 "Alam mo ba, minsan talaga naiinis na 'ko kay Zharm.." DJ

 "Bakit naman?" Ako

 "Bitter parin kasi siya sa nangyari satin.." DJ

 "Ha?? Eh ang tagal na nun. Panong bitter?" Ako

 "Diba? Wala, for example pupunta kami sakanila, eh di syempre madadaanan village mo, lagi niyang sasabihin "Oh, baba ka na. Diyan na si Kath oh." hindi nakakatuwa eh.."

 I really saw how down DJ was.

 "Bakit naman ganun.. Eh wala na nga tayong ginagawa.. and wala naman na talaga tayo.." Ako

 I noticed that DJ shifted and moved closer to me

 "Wala na nga ba talaga, Kath..?" he was staring at me, and I couldn't take it.

 "DJ.." I tried to avoid his eyes, and he moved even closer

 "Alam mo, kanina ko pa 'to gusto gawin eh.." before I could look at him again to see what he was about to do, he already moved in closer to hug me. And I couldn't help it, but I hugged him back.

 "Miss na miss na kita Kath.. Miss na miss na kitang yakapin, miss na miss na kitang halikan" he then quickly gave me a kiss on the lips, but before I could react, he went back to hugging me again.

 "Kath, bakit hindi nalang tayo.." my eyes widened in shock and my ears could not only hear the crack in his voice, but also my cracking heart.

 "Kasi hindi pwede.." I whispered.. and with that, I felt his hug loosen.

 "Bakit.." he finally let go of me, and I finally saw his face. Tears streaming down, with his eyes trying not to meet my gaze.

I couldn't take seeing him like this, so I stood up to walk to another chair across the room, and I sat there with my head bowed down as I couldn't take what was happening. Then I heard him approach me. He knelt infront of me, and laid his head on my lap. I could feel that my lap was starting to get wet from his tears.

 "Kath bakit hindi tayo pwede.." that's when DJ really started to cry

 "Hindi parin pwede DJ eh.." I tried to hold back my tears as hard as I could

 "Puta. Bakit?! Bakit?! IKAW MAHAL KO KATH. Ikaw gusto ko. Ang daya daya naman.." DJ was crying so hard, and I couldn't fight the tears anymore. Then I started to cry.

 "Sorry.." I whispered as DJ quickly stood up in alarm and tried to lift my face to meet his gaze.

 "Hey hey hey, why are you crying? Kath, wag ka umiyak please.." he was wiping my tears as I was still avoiding to look in his eyes.

 "Ang sakit kasi.. hanggang ngayon, hindi parin tayo pwede.. Si Zharm.. Si Quen.. unfair kasi sakanila.." I said in between sobs.

 "Tsh. Haha. Hindi mo ba inisip na unfair din satin? Ikaw gusto kong makasama Kath.." DJ said bitterly while still wiping my tears.

 "Haha. Ganun eh.. Hindi tayo pwede.. But maybe someday.." I had the courage to look him in the eyes now and finally he smiled.

 "Naniniwala ako diyan, Kath.. na someday mahahanap natin ulit ang isa't isa. At pagdating ng araw na yun, pwede na tayo.." he kissed me on the lips and hugged me tight.

 "Sana nga DJ.." I hugged him back

 "Hihintayin ko yun Kath.. Kahit walang kasiguraduhan.." DJ
