Theory: A man can automatically assume that the woman will have sex with them because they have already given consent for a date. On the other hand, a woman will not let herself be so vulnerable and/or easy. Therefore, if a man comes on too strong, the woman retreats. If a man is respectful, taking in account the woman's right to say no, the woman is intrigued.
Conclusion: Women come prepared, men come arrogant.
