NIKKI VS MAXWELL

Why am I doing this?

I don't want to eliminate ANY of my friends from this contest.

But I guess...
That's showbiz for ya.

Maxwell Negrini, one of my best friends who almost became my boyfriend. I have only known him since May but it feels like I have known him forever.

He has defended and protected me many times, whether it be against Mackenzie or Chucky Reynolds and his group of thugs.

But now we finally stand on the same stage. But not side by side, but opposite one another.

NIKKI: "Good luck out there."

MAXWELL: "Thanks, may the best singer win. I know you've got what it takes to win this whole thing, but I'm not going down without a fight."

NIKKI: "Likewise, I don't plan on losing tonight."

MAXWELL: "As an artist, I never plan on losing. Winning this contest will be my greatest masterpiece."

NIKKI: "My future depends on this, the position of the world's greatest artist is already reserved for me."

MAXWELL: "Well, that's a confidence I love to see from you."

NIKKI: "Y-You do?"

MAXWELL: "Of course, when you're determined, nobody can even compare to your natural ability. Well...except me of course!"

NIKKI: "Why don't we put that to the test? It's showtime."

MAXWELL: "I know. I guess I'd better go and give the audience a show, I'll warm them up for you."

NIKKI: *Giggle* "Thanks, I know you'll rock the roof off off this place!"

MAXWELL: "Looks like the roof is already gone. Oh, wait... this is a park!"

We both then burst into laughter like we did the first time we met.

MAXWELL: "All right, time to show these people that opera music can still thrive."

He walked onto the stage to a roaring crowd. I guess they liked his performance last time.
