Liam stares at Rita as she laughs and talks, sadly, with Stiles angering the Beta a bit.

Liam Dunbar has had an eye on Rita since he first saw her. He thought she was extremely stunning. He wanted the beauty to be his girlfriend but he thinks Rita has a crush on Stiles. Liam knows he stands no threat to Stiles if he likes Rita. With Liam's IED and werewolfness, Stiles is a clear winner of who should be Rita's boyfriend. Mason has told him countless time to just tell Rita how he feels but he couldn't do that. Liam would rather just be Rita's friend than not have Rita in his life. What doesn't know is that Rita has no interest in being with Stiles. Stiles is just Rita's best friend and besides the point, Stiles is in love with Lydia Martin. Liam decides he wants to listen in on Rita and Stiles's conversation.

"Okay, one more. Y/N, will you go to homecoming with me?" asks Stiles smiling at Rita

His question making Liam's stomach drop upset and a bit heartbroken. He was hoping Rita would no, wishing he and Rita could go together.

"Yes." says Rita saddening Liam

Liam walks away wanting to punch someone and eat ice cream at the same time.

"Stiles asked Rita to homecoming." Liam tells Mason and Corey at lunch

"What did she say?" asks Corey

"Yes." answers Liam sadly

"I'm sorry, Liam. I know you really like her." says Mason but before Liam can stay anything Rita sits down next to Liam

"Hey, guys." says Rita sitting down making Mason quickly change the subject

Liam walks onto the lacrosse field ready for practice. He sits down next to Scott as he gets ready for practice. When Stiles jogs up to them.

"Hey, Scott, Liam." says Stiles

"Hey, congratulation on asking her to homecoming." says Scott

"Thanks man. I'm still shocked she said yes. I can't wait for the dance. She kissed me today before class." says Stiles smiling happily

Stiles's words and the stupid grin on his face angering Liam. But before Liam could say or doing anything Coach bleed the whistling meaning practice is starting.

"Today we are going to do a scrimmage. Picks teams and get your asses on the field!" yells Coach

It ended up that Liam and Stiles were on different team. Before Coach blows the whistle, Liam faces Stiles who is directly across from him.

"Get luck, puppy." says Stiles joking around but  this only fuels Liam's anger

Coach blows the whistle and Liam rushes and pushes Stiles to the ground. He gives him a smirk before running away from the groaning in a little pain boy.

"Practice is over." says Coach after an hour log scrimmage where Liam basically beat up Stiles the whole game

"What the hell was that?" asks Stiles throwing his helmet off walking up to Liam angry at me for being so rough on the field

"What do you mean? I was just playing lacrosse the way it's supposed but I guess you wouldn't know about that. Since you have scored about 1 point all season." says Liam smirking at Stiles angering him

"You're being an ass." says Stiles pushing Lina to the ground

Growling Liam jumped back up then tackles the sarcastic boy.

Rita walks out of the school after studying at the library when Rita spots the two boys fighting each other.

What's going on? Rita think before she rushes over to Scott

"What's going on?" Rita asks him

"What do you mean?" He questions

"Why are Stiles and Liam fighting?" Rita says sightly confused on how he hasn't noticed the two boys

He looks over his shoulder and to the field.

"We should probably stop them." Scott says and Rita nods in agreement before they rush over to Liam and Stiles

Rita grabs Liam as Scott grabs Stiles.

"What is going on?" asks Scott

"Ask Wolf pup over there. He's been a total ass to me all practice." says Stiles as he points to Liam looking angry

"You started this." says Liam

"How did I start this?" says Stiles making Liam

"Let's go clean you up buddy." says Scott dragging Stiles away seeing this would only lead to a another fight

Rita sighs as she is left with an angry looking Liam. Rita grabs some wipes she keeps in her backpack.

"Okay, Liam, we need to get the blood of your face." says Rita causing Liam to turn to her

She reaches up and starts to clean Liam off.

"Shouldn't you be cleaning up your homecoming date?" asks Liam rudely

His words confusing Rita making her scrunch her eyebrows up.

"What are you talking about?" asks Rita as she continues to clean the blood off of Liam's face

"I heard Stiles asking you to homecoming this morning. Don't play dumb, Rita." says Liam looking angry

Is Liam jealous? Thinks Rita

But the thought of Stiles and her going to homecoming together make her laugh a little.

"I'm not going to homecoming with Stiles." chuckles out Rita

Her words confusing Liam.

"He was just practicing to ask out Lydia." adds Rita as finished cleaning Liam's face

"Oh." says Liam looking down embarrassed

"Is that why you fought Stiles? Because you were mad about being going to homecoming with him." says Rita

"Yes....Rita." He says looking up at you

"I wanted to ask you to homecoming." He admits

"Well then do it." says Rita smiling softly

Her words making Liam slightly shocked.

"Rita...will you go to homecoming with me?" asks Liam smiling

"Yes, Liam, even though you are a total idiot." answers Rita chuckling

Her words making Liam smile that she said yes not even caring she had called him an idiot. He then pulls Rita closers and kisses her excitedly.
