You stood with your best friend, Liam, before his lacrosse game. We are playing against Devenford Prep, Liam's old school, so you obviously know he really wants to win.
"Do you think we'll win, Y/N?" asks Liam looking worried
"Of course, Liam with you and Scott we will crush them." you assure him hoping you were right when a boy from Devenford Prep comes jogging up to the two of you
He was really attractive and very tall, but by the Liam was glaring at him you could tell this wasn't a friendly face.
"Hey Liam, you ready for us to kick your asses?" The boy asks looking smug but then sees me and sends me a wink
"Actually we are going to be the ones kicking asses tonight." says Liam annoyed
"Is this your girlfriend?" He asks pointing at me making me roll my eyes
"No, but leave Y/N alone." He says glaring at the boy
"I'm Brett Talbot." He says ignoring Liam holding his hand out for me to shake
"I'm Y/N Y/L/N." you answer shaking his hand
"You're very beautiful how about if I win this game you and me go have a celebration dinner?" he asks
"Sure." you answer knowing he wasn't going to win
"Great." He says then jogs away to his team
"You can't be serious you're gonna go on a date with him? Y/N have you lost your mind?" Liam asks mad as soon as Brett was far enough he couldn't hear us
"Liam, calm down you're gonna win so there is no date. I would never date your enemy." you say calmly
"I better." groans Liam then jogs away as you go up to the bleachers to sit with Mason
~~After the Game~~
"You ready for our date?" asks Brett smiling holding his hand for me to take
Yes, Devenford won by a point but Brett is pretty cute so maybe tonight won't be so horrible. So you aren't sure if you would happy Brett won or not.
"Yep." you answer taking his hand letting him intertwine our fingers as we walk to his car.
