New Year

Saph's P.O.V

I stand outside the tower's front door.

I'm finally completely dry.

The rain also stopped.

My tears are also dry too.

Jason is right beside me.

Comforting me.

"Now, Saph, promise me you'll at least try to enjoy New Year...try"

I smile a little

"Okay. I promise."

He leaves.

...New Year...hooray...

I walk in the tower.

Everyone's happy, laughing.

I put on a smile.

Natasha walks to me.

"How'd it go?" She asks

"...Fine" I lie.

I walk passed her.

Everyone is seated on the floor in a big circle.

Thor shouts "Lady Jane what is this you mortals celebrate?"

"It's called new year Thor, it's when everyone lights up fire works, and celebrate the NEW YEAR"

"Oh...I see" he says with his thundering voice

"ALRIGHTY, ONLY A FEW MINUTES 'TILL NEW YEAR!!!"

Tony turns on the stereo and it starts playing loud music.

"WOOO!!!!" Wade shouts.

I hear loud noises outside.

Fireworks.

On que the song Fireworks by Katy Perry starts playing.

Everyone runs out to watch the fireworks.

I just walk.

Pepper's P.O.V

Tony and I stay on one of the balconies to watch the fireworks.

"It's beautiful" I say

We watch the fireworks.

Beautiful and unique colors cover the night sky.

I look at my watch 12:00.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" I shout to the world

I watch the fireworks. Then in front of me a huge one catches my eyes.

In all pink, and in fireworks form.

It says:

PEPPER, WILL YOU MARRY ME?

I turn to Tony, he's kneeling on one knee, holding a tiny box.

He opens it, there's a ring with a beautiful diamond.

"Pepper, I would give up anything for you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

The booming of the fireworks are loud but I can hear the song, Fireworks and at the same time I hear the beating of my heart.

"Yes!!!!" I say.

Steve's P.O.V

Trish pulls me to the highest part of the tower.

We sit together watching the fireworks.

Below us are balconies.

We watch the fireworks.

"Wow" Trish says.

I stare at the beauty of the fireworks.

Then I look at Trish, she's much more beautiful.

Her hair is light brown, it's tied and set on her shoulder, and her skin is perfectly golden.

Her eyes are almost the same color as her hair and her eyes simply sparkle under the night sky, they seem as bright as the lights from the fireworks.

She looks at me, and smiles.

"What?" She says

Her voice like an angel's.

I sit closer to her.

She looks straight into my eyes.

She gets closer to me.

She closes her eyes and I close mine.

Our lips touch.

As we kiss, the world slows down, and all I could hear is the song Fireworks.

Saph's P.O.V

I stand in one balcony.

Watching the fireworks, and listening to the song.

"Just enjoy." Jason told me.

But how could I?

My own mom din't even love me.

I grip railing in anger.

She told me that she hated me. Well I hate her too!!

I want to scream at the world.

Then I let go of the railing. I calm down.

I look to my left, on the balcony, I see Tony kneeling on one knee, and putting a ring on Pepper's finger.

You go Tony!

I look to my right.

Thor is holding Jane close to him.

I turn around and look up.

Trish and Steve are kissing.

Love is in the air tonight...at least they're all happy.

I go back in the tower.

I listen to the song for a while.

Then everyone goes back in.

"WOOO!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" Wade screams

"OH YEAH!!!" Even Clint is happy.

I try to stop myself from bursting into tears or screaming at everyone in the room.

Tony makes the music louder.

"Cause baby you're a firework, come on let your colors burst, baby go up, up, up!!!"

I sit on the floor by the corner of the room.

I watch everyone, dancing and laughing.

The girls say that they wanna watch a movie.

I don't come with them.

They don't want me to.

I stay here watching the guys get drunk, all except Cap of course.

"WOOOO!!!!"

Laughing and screaming random things.

They scream and shout all night long.

................

It's 7:00 in the morning, the sun is up and shinning.

All the guys are passed out on the floor.

I'm still here at the corner, curled up, I must have fell a sleep for a while. I stand up, and walk to my room. And shut the door behind me.

Finally New Year's over. I mentally celebrate.

I curl up on my bed. And cloe my eyes.

I think I deserve a little reward for pushing through the whole night.
