Little flashback

Steve's P.O.V

Everyday I go jogging before the sun is even up yet.

I go jogging, 70 meters, 100 laps.

I start jogging.

I'm in my 20th lap, as I jog i see on the other side of the park another person jogging as fast as I'm jogging.

"What?" I ask myself

We cross at my 50th lap.

She's wearing a light blue jacket, and her hood.

Then her hood falls off because of the strong blowing wind.

"Saph!"

"Hey"

"How many laps have you done at that speed?"

"It's my 50th lap"

Right behind her is her friend.

She keeps jogging until she's ahead of me.

"Saph wait up!" Her friend tries to keep up with her.

"You'd have to keep up!"

Her friend passes by me.

He's breathless.

"Hey cap!" He waves

I wave back.

At the 100th lap the sun starts to come up.

She stops.

She walks to her friend who sits under a tree, he stopped much earlier.

She sits beside him.

They talk for a while then he leaves.

I walk to Saph.

She looks up at me.

She doesn't even seem breathless.

"Who was that?"

"A friend." She doesn't say much about him.

"Okay...how do you run that fast?"

"It's actually jogging Cap."

"How? I don't suppose you were injected by the super soldier sirum too?"

"No, no. Just years of training"

"That must be some really intense training"

"...Everyday before the sun rises I'd jog 200 laps. I got so used to it. Everyday I'd get faster and faster."

"Wow."

"Eh."

"Tell me. Who thought you these things, your parents?"

"No."

"Then who did?"

"My parents din't teach me. They died before I was 4. I went to a group of people who trained me until I was ten. It was a tough training"

"What do you mean?"

"If I made one simple mistake...they'd give a tough punishment"

"Like, what kind?" I push her to talk about it.

"Well...the least harshest punishment was having your foot tied to a rope, then they'll turn you upside down and hang you at a really high place. You'll be stuck like that for 5 hours."

"...the harshest punishment?"

"There is none. The punishments always get harsher and harsher every time."

"What kind of people train 4 year olds?"

"Assassins"

"Oh...How'd you end up not killing?"

"People thought me"

"Who?"

"Um...my aunt"

"You have an aunt?"

"Used to..."

"Oh... So um...why'd Fury say that you are some kind of soldier?"

"After I joined SHIELD they put me in a military academy for kids like me, for a year. It turns out they were training me to be one of you guys, without me knowing."

"Oh."

Then her watch vibrates.

She presses a button.

A hollogram comes out of her watch, it's like a computer, without the monitor or the keyboard, just the screen.

"Hey Cap, ready for a mission?"

..............................

We're in a jet.

SHEILD agents are behind us.

"Okay. Let's go" she says

I jump of the jet and I land on the another plane.

Behind me is Saph, no parachute, like me.

She nods to reassure.

I open a whole in the plane and we jump in.

Guards ambush us.

We take them down easily.

"I'll head for the controls and land this thing."

Saph's P.O.V

Cap runs to the control room.

I head down to see if there are any guards.

There are guards but I take them out.

Then I hear something.

Tik, tik tik.

I turn around

I curse under my breath.

A bomb! 10 seconds.

Time to defuse!

I defuse the bomb but I hear another tik. Another bomb!

2 seconds...

I curse again

The plane explodes and we fall into the sea.

Owie. Hot!

I hit the water.

Something falls from the plane and hits me, and pushes me down in the water.

Owie!

But never mind that.

I force myself to swim up.

Where the hell are the SHEILD agents!!! They're supposed to be here.

I look for Cap.

I find him, he's awake

"FAIL!!!"

Finally SHEILD agents come down in chutes.

"Finally!"

"Is everyone okay?" Cap asks.

"Don't know but I was able to make sure that no one died!"

"Good" He says.

"But now, Fury's gonna kill us."

"No, worries, I got the package, and you saved the people"

"Good"
