Christmas break up. part 1

Steve's P.O.V

I sit here in the kitchen.

Until now I'm still sulking, about my past.

The world has moved on.

All that I loved and cared for then, is now gone, my family, my friends.

My best friend. Everyone has moved on without me.

I hear foot steps behind me.

I turn my head.

Natasha.

"Hey Steve could you help me out with something?"

"Umm.Yeah sure."

"I just wanted to put up the Christmas tree, I need help, no one else is here except you and Saph."

"Okay I'll help. It might be fun"

"Wanna go ask Saph if she'll join us?"

"Okay. I think she's watching a movie though."

I walk into the room, Tony put a huge TV and a player.

It's dark.

The light is only coming from the TV

"BUCKY NO!" She screams

I see my face on the screen.

I look at Saph. She's right in front of the TV just staring.

She's wearing a tight black shirt and denim jeans. She's upside down. Doing a hand stand, while she's watching.

She sees me.

"Cap!" She falls on her face, then she gets up and turns off the TV

"owie" she rubs her face.

"Why were you watching TV upside down?"

"I wanted to see what would happened if I watched upside down in the dark"

"What was that movie? Why was I in it?"

"...It's not a movie. It's a documentary."

"Oh."

It's quiet for a while.

"Oh...So...anyways...wanna go join me and Natasha? We're gonna go set up the Christmas tree."

"...um..." she thinks as if she's wondering what a Christmas tree even is, then she says yes.

We walk to Natasha.

"Hey guys" Natasha says

"Okay, let's set up the Christmas tree"

We set up the tree.

"Um...now what?" Saph asks

Natasha and I look at her.

"Duh, we put up the decorations!" Natasha says

"Oh yeah..."

I chuckle "When was the last time you had to put up a Christmas tree?"

"...Um...I don't know."

"You're saying that you never put up a Christmas tree before?" Natasha asks

"Not that I remember."

"Wow, your childhood must've sucked"

"Actualy, I bearly got a chance to live it"

We finish decorating the tree.

Then we put up the star.

"Why do we need to put up a star?" Saph asks.

"It's tradition!" I say

"Oh, yeah..."

"Okay! We're done!"

"The floor is a mess!" Saph says.

"Okay then, let's start cleaning up."

....................

After cleaning up, we decide to watch TV here in the living room while waiting for everyone else to come back.

We watch TV for hours but no one comes home yet.

We watch until we all fall asleep on the couch.

Natasha's P.O.V

I wake up, it's about 5 or 6am.

Everyone should be back by now.

I realize that I'm leaning on Steve's chest. And he's holding me tightly, his arms rapped around me. We must have gotten tangled up last night in our sleep.

Saph is asleep on the other side of the big white couch, holding the remote.

I should check if Clint's back, but Steve's holding me tightly. I try to untangle myself from him, but the guy's really strong.

"Steve wake up!" But he doesn't wake up, he must be tired.

Finally I push him off the couch, he hits the floor with a huge thud. He wakes up.

"Ow! Hey!"

Saph wakes up to the loud thud.

I laugh.

"Hey guys. What time is it?" Saph asks.

I stand up and start walking towards him, but I trip over some box that we must have missed last night.

"Gah!"

I fall on him, my hands on his chest. His hands on my hips because of his attempt to catch me.

And our lips touch. A slight accidental kiss.

I stare at him with wide eyes, and he stares at me.

Then I hear the door open.

We stare at each other for a little longer then I slowly pull away from him and stand up, he gets up.

I turn to see who's at the door.

And unfortunately it's Clint. Who's eyes are as wide as mine.

"Uh-oh" Saph says

"CLINT!" I say

Before I can explain, he closes the door behind him and he walks out of the living room.

I run after him.
