It' s been, i don't know, 2 MONTHS since Yuri left. I'm happy that finally , Dasuri is now seeing all his efforts. Oh Boy, it took them almost eternity before they came to their senses.
Anyhow...I need to be somewhere else, the twist , Rodney must not know.
I had to wake up in the middle of the night just so that i can sneak out of the bed while my manwife is sleeping soundly.
Rodney is pretty tired with his school work and carwash duties. It took me awhile before i was able to stop myself from staring at his innocent face flattered by his copper tone skin. He's at his best when his eyes are wide shut. Damn , he melts my heart.
Anyway, i quicky prep up , went to my locked luggage where i save a large amount of Pinoy currentcy, took some and went outside. Tomah , Yamato and Hakku were nowhere to be found , i guess , they went ahead. Karma felt me and went out as well. I gave Karma a good rub on his forehead and then signaled him to keep quiet and he did. Good boy!
I , then, dragged the motorcycle outside the compound. Carefully and slowly to assure that no noise will be made. I'm sneaking out, remember. The least thing, i would want to happen is waking Rodney up. Definitely, he would ask me where I'm going. If that happens, for sure , i will lie and i don't want that to happen.
Few minutes after, i'm finally out of the tow away compound. Whoooh! What a relief.I stepped on the motorcycle and started the engine. With no second thought, i accelarated the engine in full speed.
As i explore the highway with my late night ride, memories started to bother my mind. This is the life that i want. The simple one. The journey that i'm willing to take with Rodney. But, for how long?
I spaced out. The idea of me breaking Rodney's trust kinda worries me bigtime. He hates secrets kept from him which , my goodness , i have the juiciest secret kept in the volt and just like pandora's box, once opened, everything will change.
An hour after, i arrived to my destination, San Mateo, the place where uninvited souls plunder to do their dirty scims. The place was so dark and creepy just like before. My eyes roamed and saw shadows that were trying hide while figuring out who i am.
" Si Shima ito... ", i uttered.
Immediately light started to flair up after they heared my name. The darkness suddenly dissappeared. Now, the creepy place where evil lurks showed its through form. It's a workshop with the logo of shogun motors.
" Boss...congrats po ... dapat kayo yung title.", said the person who came from hiding. It's Mong. His colleague started to come out aswell.
I smiled. " Kamusta na kayo dito. Tapos na detox program nyo? ", I asked.
" Boss konti na lang , na clear na ni Sir Hakku yung karamihan sa amin. Pwede na po simulan ang construction ng work shop."
" Mabuti naman ... e yung training nyo kamusta? ",i said while dragging the motorcycle to a good parking spot.
" Mahirap po pero matiyaga po si Sir Yamato magturo. ", he answered.
" Nagugutom ba kayo dito ?".
" Lalo pong hindi, magaling pong magturo si Sir Tomah sa pagluluto. Masarap po dito kaya nakakainspire po na magbagong buhay?", Mong added." Salamat po sa lahat. Hindi ko po inakala na sa bigat po ng kasalanan ko eh...",
I quickly interupt Mong. "Wag mo ng balikan yun. Nagbabagong buhay na kayo... kaya ituloy tuloy nyo na. ", i said while tapping Mong shoulders. " Sa'yo na nakapangalan ang loteng ito. Babalik si Yuri sa isang linggo para ayusin ang construction ng Car assembly at mga shipment ng gamit. I fully trust your eagerness to make things right, i hope you dont fail me. ", i said while i reach Mong's hand for a hand shake.
" Tanga na po kami kung sasayangin namin ito. ", and then Mong held my hand with a firm squeeze. " Ipupusta po namin ang bayag naming lahat, para patunayan ang loyalty namin sa'yo boss. "
I suddenly had the urge to laugh ."Bayag nyo? AANHIN KO YUN... Ipagigiling para ilagay sa sopas? EGG SOUP?! ".
Awkward silence came after. After few seconds, without reservation , everyone burst to laughter. I guess , they find it funny.
" Boss nga pala kung may ipapaayos kaso sa compound ... sabihan nyo lang po kami. Yung bubong ng Balai bus , hindi pa po na welding ng maayos.",said Mong while trying calm himself.
" Hindi muna sa ngayon, baka makahalata na si Rodney. Lalo pa ngayon , pareho kaming nag-aaral kaya lagi kami na nasa bahay.", i explained.
" Boss ? Ibig mong sabihin, wala pa ring alam si Sir Rodney? ".
I was about to tell them the reason when Tomah came rushing towards me with Yamato and Hakku behind him. He looked so flushed out.
" Anung problema? ", i asked.
" Your brother just went berserker mode and trashed your father's favorite lamborgini.", Tomah explained.
" Your brother left after a big arguement went with your father.", Hakku continue explaining.
Worried with what i've heard i immediately asked ," Nasaan na sya ngayon? ".
I saw the trio's reaction. I suddenly felt more worried.
" Shima... ngayon ang magandang chance na magpaliwanag kay Rodney ... kung hindi , world war 3 will be on the process.", Yamato's reply with uncertainty on his tone.
Immediately after Yamato's statement... my phone rang. I immediately checked. It's Rodney.
My heart is pumping to fast. My sweat suddenly activate as i slowly placed my phone near my ear. I took a deep breath before i answered, then ... world war 3 erupted before i was able to say hello.
" Shima! Nasaan ka !", Rodney's reply with head over heel tone while i can hear Kenta's voice.
" Ahm , let me explain...", i said while trying to clear my throat.
" Sino tong hapon na katabi ko! Bilisan mong umuwi at ... Mag-uusap tayo!", Rodney said before he hing up.
I rushed immediately to to my ride and drove home...
" Patay ako nito ... ", i uttered.
