On its 80th anniversary, Krispy Kreme is giving back to its loyal customers. In addition to releasing limited-edition birthday cake doughnuts, the beloved doughnut chain is also offering a major deal for a dozen original glazed doughnuts on July 14.
On Facebook, Krispy Kreme announced that it would be offering customers a dozen glazed doughnuts for just 80 cents! If you do the math, that's less than seven cents per doughnut - a deal you're not likely to encounter anytime else. In order to access the deal, however, you do need to purchase a dozen doughnuts at full price. Fortunately, the dozen doughnuts you purchase do not have to be glazed, as you can pick any other flavor.

The promotion is in honor of Krispy Kreme's glazed doughnut, which the company began selling on July 14, 1937 - a day after Krispy Kreme opened its first store. Most locations throughout the United States and Canada will be participating.
