Library Children & Daily Schedule

Dear Parents,
Yes, God seems to have put children into my life, whether I want it or not! First housework in Prasanthi Nilayam and now children here! But it is good, as I am learning to see all as just sparks of light, as waves on the one big ocean of God. 20 or 30 kids come to the Library daily (mostly 1st-4th graders) and about five or six stay around me only. They want me to tell them stories of the gods or sometimes they ask questions about America.
Anyway, sometimes there is opportunity to convey higher aspects of life to them. Some days ago, two small boys were fighting a lot. I called them both (they were long-standing enemies they tell me) and I said, “Don’t you know that we are all one family, the creation of God? If you are hurting anyone, you hurt God!” Then i scratched my arm with my nails until a little blood came, and I said, “See, if you hurt each other you are hurting me! I will do this again if I hear you’ve been fighting.” This gave them a big shock! They said, “Sister! We never want to hurt you! We won't fight again!” And since then, they’ve been kind to each other. Which only goes to prove, we can teach better by example! (They had both been covered with marks from scratching each other, that’s why I scratched myself!)
My daily routine:
2:30-4:30 AM: Meditation
4:30 – 5:30 AM: Bath & washing clothes
5:30 – 7 AM: Playing prayer cassette in Mandir and setting up for satsang
7:30 – 9 AM: Satsang in Mandir
9 – 9:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 – 11:30 AM: Library duty
11:30 AM – 2:30 PM: Meditation; nap; sometimes work with Jnaneswari in Mandir area; lunch
2:30 – 3 PM: Bath
3 – 4:30 PM: Library duty
4:30 – 5:30 PM: Setting up for satsang; talking with Jnaneswari
5:30 – 8 PM: Satsang
8 – 9:30: Meditation
9:30 PM – 2:30 AM: Sleep
The other day as I went through Jnaneswari’s room, she asked me to turn on the radio. She heard the news for a few minutes then smiled at me saying, “God is also fully in that!” She added, with a far-away look and radiating peace and joy, “In THAT, there is no time or space, only bliss…” Like this, Jnaneswari constantly reminds me of the Reality – not voidness, but full of Peace, Love and complete, inexpressible Bliss. May we ever be aware of our Reality!
