I got into the car and drove like maniac. I was angry, angry at her for not letting me a chance, angry at me because I can't make her trust me and angry at him because he had made her build those walls. I banged the door of my car shut and stormed inside. I ask the receptionist about where he was.

"You! You are the reason for all her walls that she made up so high." I shouted opening the door. "What kind of a father does want that? You should be telling her that her life is not ending; that if some jerk left her, it was his loss not her mistake. She doesn't have to lament over the past for her whole future." I shouted. Daniel looks up from the papers, he was seeing.

"No! you don't do that. You tell her to stay away from the possibility of her coming happiness. What if! I look a little like that ass. I will try my best to prove her that I am not but that would be only possible if she lets me. But I know that is not going to happen because you warned her about me. Seriously, me" I huffed.

"Do I look like a bad boy to you, with tattoos equal to infinity? You think, I will hurt her like him. Let me tell you Mr. Hemsworth, I not that kind of guy. But why I am wasting my time, telling you all this. Because I think, you don't care. You know why?" I raised my eyebrow.

"BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT HER FATHER. You don't care. You are just bearing her until she is eighteen. She is daughter of your dead brother and you are burdened with the responsibility of her." I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks. He bloody slapped me!

"Was the truth harsh for you?" I look to meet his eyes but they are not his. Rather it belongs to the man, I have spent eighteen years of my life.

"Do you have any idea of the words you spoke right now?" Dad's angry voice bellowed and he continued. "you are telling him that he is not a good father."

"because he is not even her father, that's why he doesn't care." I could see Daniel's chest raising and falling rapidly and his head between his hands.

"So, that's what you think of Catherine too because apparently she isn't your mother too. She is my second-wife to you only then." Dad looked at me with grave expression.

"no, I don't think that. She is the best that me and Greg could have after mom. We love her like she is the one who gave birth to us." I say.

"so, why say things like those to Daniel? Because in a way, you are applying those to your mother too. I always tell you to weigh your words in your mind before you let them out in public." He puts a hand on my shoulder and motioned towards Daniel. I understood what he wants me to do.

Now, that I think, I said words that were too harsh and too wrong. Dad is right. I said without thinking.

"Mr. Hemsworth, I am sorry for all that I said. I was just." I let out a sigh and continued. "I was mad. I think more mad at me that I can't make you and her trust me. I am sorry." I walked away saying that. I didn't hear to, what he said. I could make out the faint sound of him speaking but my mind was blurred to register it.

I got inside my car and laid my head back down. I see my phone's screen blinking. There are ten missed calls from Greg. I left from the school without him. He must be pissed. I called him back and he picked up at the first ring.

"hey, sorry bro. I just"

"don't worry about that. Ryder gave me ride. But where were you? I called you like a dozen times. See come home, we have to go to Amanda's house."

"I am sure, you meant that you have to go to Amanda's house." I corrected him.

"No, I certainly meant WE. She called and told me that I should bring you too. God wonders why! She said it's important."

"okay, I am coming." I hanged up and drove to the house. I wonder what does Amanda wants from me. She said it was important. I parked the car on the side of the road. Greg was sitting outside on the stairs. As soon as, he heard me parking, he came running and settled himself in the passenger seat.

"Let's go." He said putting on the seatbelt. I started the engine and drove away. "You had the keys. I am so pissed at you." Greg said looking at me. He punched in Amanda's address into the GPS. I remained silent at his accusations because I didn't know what to explain to him. His phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hey Dad! What's up?" I think I know about that. Greg remained quiet listening to him and then eyeing me from the corner of his eyes.

"yeah! He is with me. No, he hasn't done anything stupid like hurting himself. Aanhanh!!! Okay, got it. Bye!!" he ended the call and turned to face me.

"Stop staring me." I told him, taking a right turn.

"were you out of your fucking mind?"

"maybe, I was. Thank you for clearing my doubt." I retorted.

"what happened? I could sense from my twin telepathy that something is wrong." He raised his eyebrow.

"you don't have a twin telepathy!"

"not the answer." I sighed and stopped the car at a red light. I started telling him about the picture that I saw in Anna's house and the incident in the music room. The light changed and I started driving but continued to tell him. When I was finished, we were parked infront of Amanda's house.

"you said Mr. Hemsworth some pretty nasty things. Dad said he was crying and left for home." Greg told me. He rang the doorbell and we we stood waiting. Amanda opened the door and gave Greg a hug. Greg pecked her on her lips. They are making it worst for me. I am longing for what they have, love.

"guys, if you called me show PDA, then I am not interested." I said crossing my arms.

"No, it's important." She looked at me and Greg. "Maria, bring guest some snacks. We are in my room." She shouted. I followed Amanda and Greg. I think Greg has been here many times because he is walking as if he knows it by heart. The door opened to reveal a turquoise themed room. It was neatly arranged. She motioned for us to sit on the bed and walked to a cupboard to take out something.

"Didn't I say when I first Annabelle that I think I have met her. That her face feels familiar to me but she said that it couldn't have been possible." She said flipping through the pages of what looks like a photo album to me.

"Yeah." I said. I remember that, it was at mom's and dad's anniversary party.

"look here." She said, putting the album infront of me and pointing to a girl. Not any girl, it was Anna.
