To release all my stress, I went for a morning run. I made sure not to cross Anna's street because it would only make me think all about yesterday. The tears from her eyes are the sole reason for my inability to sleep.

Yesterday, mom and dad left to spend their weekend at the penthouse. If there are no prior arrangements, this is how they usually spend their weekend, in each other's bliss. Due to both of their hectic schedule, they barely get to spend time with each other. So, they found this perfect solution. Sure, mom being fashion designer comes with artistic escapes. I chuckle at the thought.

Closing the door behind me, I made my way to the room with my wicked intention of waking Greg. I love my dear bro so much!! Well, he came pretty late yesterday after dropping Amanda at her house.

"Wake up sleepyhead! You have to make me breakfast. It is your turn to make it. Robert would be coming to do the chores." I yelled, pulling down the covers from him.

He jolted up straight on the bed, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, I know all that. But I am not making anything fancy. Just a sandwich and coffee." He grumbled, standing up.

"I know that and I am not even asking you." I gave him a cheeky smile. After brushing our teeth, we both made our way to the kitchen.

While Greg was making sandwiches, I made some coffee. Caffeine is a bliss to me. After finishing our breakfast, we plopped on the couch.

The doorbell rang and we let Robert in. A quick introduction here, people. He comes on weekends for household services. Rest of the week, mom do it just enough that house doesn't look like a mess. Initially, he and his wife lived with us but then they bought their own home at the end of the street. And his wife is a cook at a school's cafeteria.

"Hello Robert, you won't mind starting from our room. It is kind of a big mess." Greg said, while putting an action movie to play and also passing me a glare.

"Not my entire fault..." I put my hands in surrendering position.

"Sure, till I do all that, you guys can think what do you want for lunch." He chuckled at me, before continuing. "So that Martha can cook quickly and I can bring the required groceries." He said making his way for the room.

It was almost noon when all the work was done. With our mutual agreement, we decided to eat meatball and spaghetti for lunch with a salad. Robert went to get the groceries and pick his wife.

I heard someone's car pull into the driveway. "Who is it?" I asked Greg.

"Must be Anna. I called her for the chemistry project; we have to do together." He said, getting up to open the door.

"No problem, I will take it. Why don't you get your books and all?" I said heading towards the door.

"Why not!! I know what is going here and why you are so keen to open to door." He said wiggling his eyebrows.
