Platinum is back in college, working on her law degree and doing an internship at a very well-known law firm. She recently moved to a neighborhood near Buckhead with her fiancé, Rich. She let the dance group go because of all the drama that was beginning to occur. Life for Platinum is wonderful, all she has ever wanted it to be.
Slim has opened a foreign car dealership and two body shops. His money is steady but still not as much as the drug money he used to bring in. The only reason he isn't back in the game is because he vowed to never miss any of Imani's special moments. He has a girlfriend of three months named Heather. He doesn't really have feelings for her, he just wants to replace Platinum the best he can.
As for Imani, she's one year and one month old. She's very smart for her age and is still the perfect mix between Slim and Platinum. She loves Rich with all her heart but her love for her father is indescribable.
People move on and some things don't go the way we expect them to but if things are meant to happen, they will. The ambitious Platinum and infamous Slim might find their way back to each other, only time will tell.
