            “What are we doing?” I laughed, as Jacen dragged me farther into the woods.

            “Somewhere,” he said and I rolled my eyes.

            “Come on, it’s getting dark. We have been walking for hours,” I whined and he chuckled.

            “So, I like being here with you,” he said and I smiled, flushing.

            “Thank you, you too,” I said.

            Venus, come home, Luna pleaded in my head and I froze, the smile wiping off my face.

            “What's wrong?” I asked.

            Vampires are attacking, your parents are dead and I don't know about your brother, she whispered and I gasped, tears falling down my face.

            “Venus, something wrong?” he asked and I looked up at him.

            “Vampires, they’re attacking,” I said and that’s all it took for him to start running and me right behind him. Great, those stupid bloodsucking leeches couldn’t wait till I got off my stupid date.

            We stopped by the pack, seeing bodies around us but thank goodness most of them were dead vampires. “Kill them all,” Jacen growled, everyone turning to him and nodded before shifting.

            I looked at Jacen as they tackled the rest of the injured vampires, killing them as they laid on the ground. Something seems wrong, this is too easy. “This isn’t right?” I whispered. I looked around, not caring to shift. My heart picked up speed as I saw something moving. “It’s a trap,” I screamed, it clinking in my head as cold arms wrapped around my waist, pulling my back into the woods.

            “Venus,” I heard someone screamed but I was too busy screaming and thrashing around as I felt something wet on the right sight of my neck.

            I froze as I felt the cold lips against my lips. “No,” I screamed, realizing what the vampire was going to do.

            “No,” I heard someone roar but I was too busy trying to make sure this vampire didn’t do anything to me.

            “Please,” I screamed, getting one good kick in the knee, making him stumble as I got out of his grasp, seeing Jacen and some others run towards me. I picked up speed, trying to run to them as something grabbed me and I screamed. “JACEN,” I screamed.

            “VENUS,” he screamed as I felt the lips pull apart against my skin and his teeth dig into me.

            “I'm sorry,” I whispered, as I felt the vampire shiver in delight as he tasted my blood. “I'm so sorry.”
