Third Person P.O.V
Stig and Missy were sitting on the ship that night, as were all the other Herons, but they were on the railing, or at least, Missy was. Stig stood beside her.
"I'm sorry I forgot your birthday." he said.
"I forgot too, so don't feel bad." she smiled, leaning back to lay her head on his chest.
"I didn't even get you anything."
"I don't want anything."
"Jesper is making me feel bad."
"Don't worry about it, ok."
"Ok... I guess."
"Stig, hanging out with you is the only present I need."
She stood, planning on going to bed.
Before she walked away, he caught her hand, and she turned to him questioningly. He fought a battle in his mind for a moment.
"What the hell. Why not." he thought aloud, coming to a decision.
He dropped her hand, slipped his arms around her waist, and kissed her.
She responded in kind, wrapping her arms around his neck.
That's when they heard cheering, and immediately jumped apart.
"It's about time!"
"Finally!"
"Took you two long enough!"
Everyone had seen it, and when they came to this conclusion, they both blushed.
They just pretended like nothing happened.
They sat there and talked for a while.
Stig felt extremely awkward now, because that was the first time he had ever, ever, kissed her.
She just sat beside him, laying her head on his chest, and he wrapped his arms her.
"We should have done that sooner." she told him, looking up at him.
"Yes, yes we should've." he replied, kissing her again.
