Chapter 19

The sun crept over the horizon in the early hours one morning mid-December, the vibrant colours mixed so perfectly, decorating the sky beautifully with reds and yellows all bright and occasionally did the light purples and blues pop into the sky behind the few clouds that dotted around.

From the window seat in the girl's dormitory where Adria previously slept - for once - did the young girl sit on the window seat, her head against the cold window as she watched the sun show the start of the day, her best friends slept in the beds around her, and she made sure not to make a sound as she sat, but there was no sound to be made anyway. The day was Saturday and the snow decorated the ground like a blank canvas waiting to be used, and desperately did Adria wish to go to Hogsmeade, she had wanted to go for the past week or so but none of her friends wanted to venture into the dreadful weather they had been having.

But she didn't mind all that much, she had made the decision to go herself today yesterday, she had previously begged Sirius seeing as he usually liked to do things she wanted to but he had already promised James to a prank, seeing as they hadn't been doing that all that much.

It was just past eight when Adria pushed herself up from the window seat, deciding to get breakfast before she would leave for the day, and soon was she dressed in some comfortable trousers and one of Sirius' hoodies that she had stolen not too long ago.

She grabbed her wand with a sigh, and soon did she venture out of the dormitory, the common room fire already hitting her as she walked down the stairs and with a smile she made her way to the portrait hole that automatically swung open at her presence, showing her the slightly dull lighten corridors that Adria now walked down.

She hadn't been herself in a while, and whilst she wouldn't mind some company, she was enjoying the few moments of silence with herself as she walked alone, feeling the slight breeze from the courtyard in her hair.

The great hall hadn't many people when Adria entered but she was able to spot the two Slytherin's with the lovely hair in the middle of their table and with a grin did Adria make her way towards them, plopping down in front of them and watching them both jump from their conversation.

"Hello my dears," Adria giggled, watching the suspicious looks fall over each of their faces she couldn't help but roll her eyes, "what?!"

"Why are you so happy?" asked Alina, looking around, "where are your friends?"

"Well there's one!" Adria huffed, pointing to Lia who grinned, "she was my bloody friend first!"

"Mhmm," Alina nodded, "what do you want?"

"You're so bloody dull," Adria grumbled, "I wanted to see if you two lovely ladies would like to join me at Hogwarts today!"

"I can't!" Alina sighed, shaking her head, "I need to go with supervision, I'm only third year remember!"

"I'm your supervision," Adria shrugged, "you're my sister, I'm older, if we get caught, which we won't, mind you, then I'll take the blame, simple."

"Not simple!" Alina gasped, furiously shaking her head, "what if you get into deep trouble, what if Dumbledore expels you?!"

At this, both Adria and Lia couldn't help but laugh, rather loudly, "Lili, you could kill someone and Dumbledore would shrug it off!"

"Lili?" Adria repeated, her eyebrow raised, "can I please be up to date on the nicknames!"

"No, Lili is not a nickname," Alina growled, nudging Lia roughly who couldn't help but laugh, "and I don't know, I don't want to get in trouble."
