"Q your phone's ringing. Pick it up?" Midnight said as I stood in the balcony

"Who is it? If it's Marquin don't pick up" I was staring at the beautiful view of Long Beach and the night sky. This brought me a lot of comfort especially because I was with Midnight.

"It's Trevor" I took the phone from her hands and answered

"Wassup T" I yawned

"Yo man, where you been? After last month's interview I ain't seen you no more"

I chuckled "Man, I'm hooked, but everything been good so far" I rubbed my curly nappy hair

"Let me guess. Dove got you picking flowers and buying chocolates and all" he laughed

I sucked my teeth "Naw man, it ain't even that. It ain't even Dove!"

"You still fucking with that other girl, man who she is, she got sisters? Tell her to hook me up"

"You met her already to be honest, it's M-" I felt something hit me. I looked down and saw a chew toy. "What gives, Why you threw that at me bae?"

She mouthed and signaled with her hands "Don't tell anyone"

I looked at her questionably "Man that's confidential business. But what's up with you?"

"You was just bout to tell me though. Everything been aight, but we out to the club later on. You in?"

"Ugh yeah, you know I'm always down?" I stood up straight and walked in the room "Hey you wanna come to the club later on with me and my boys?" she nodded

"Aight then, we gonna be out there by... midnight" I almost got scared when he said that, but quickly got to my senses

"Aight man" I hung up

She was sitting on the bed playing with her nails "Why you hit me for?" I sat down besides her

"I don't want your friends or people knowing about us. They gonna think I had something to do with you and Dove "breaking up" and also we not walking in together"

"Why the fuck not?" I could feel my heart drop "You don't want to be with me?"

She rolled her eyes and placed her hands on the side of my head "What did I tell you before? I'm always gonna be here, but best believe him calling you after a whole month is a trap, there's something going on" I shut my eyes "Look at me, the only reason that we not walking in with eachother is because they're going to suspect something you know, also I don't want drama coming our way because you don't know who's going to be at the club"

I opened my eyes sadly "You're right, we don't need all the drama" I sighed

She smiled and let my head loose "Stop being so sad and get ready for what Midnight brings us" she pushed me down on the bed and climbed on top of me "I don't like to see you said" she kissed me and I hugged onto her warm body

I walked into Club Lexus and immediately saw Trevor and Marquin

"Wassup my niggas" I clapped up both of them and patted their backs

"You know, you know getting bitches like crazy" Trevor said and I laughed

"Yeah right, this nigga got slapped in the face twice already and his sauce suppose to be magic"

"Man, whats up though, you talked to Dove lately" Trevor said as he pulled me to the side

"Naw, she haven't really been on my mind lately and I got someone else"

"Oh yeah, where she at though?"
