Same day
August,

I walked into the room where my manger, Mir, and her manager were waiting. "What's up?" I asked while sitting down. "What the heck were you doing with Gina last night?" Mir asked.

"She was just helping a nigga out last night. I was drunk and I ain't want to call your ass." I mentioned. She mugged me.

"Miracle is going to get a new makeup artist." Nina (her manager) said. "Don't take it out on ha take it on me." I said. She don't need ta lose ha job. "I don't want her as my makeup artist." Mir decided.

"I'm outta dis contract." I declared. "August you can't. It hasn't been three years yet." Tira (my manager) said. "I don't fuckin care about dat. Da only fuckin thing I need ta care about is figuring out who Gina is from ma past." I walked out. I need ta take a trip ta NOLA with Gina.

"August." Mir said. "Watchua want?" I questioned. "I've caught feelings and I hope we can continue the contract." She smiled. "I'm done with ya ass." I walked away. I headed toward Gina's crib.

"No." "I wanna find some answers." "Do that alone. You don't need me." I spoke. I need ta really be done with his ass.

"I do. Ya know why ma mama hates me." I nodded. "Tell me." He stated. "August I can't." I said. "Yes ya can." He urged.

Why'd he gotta come back in my life?

"It's better if you don't remember me. I just need ta forget you." I said.

"Ima remember ya." "Please just go. I don't want to see your ass again." I looked to the door. "Aight." He left. I don't need him.

"Someone should please tell me who Gina is." I begged. A nigga be sounding so desperate. "You chea-" Jamal started. "Boy if ya don't let him figure it out." Someone dragged Jamal by his ear.
