The next morning, my face was puffy from the tears. I got up and washed my face, showered, brushed my teeth and all of that. I walked downstairs, still in my pajamas, to go pour myself a bowl of cereal. Sadly, I ran into Roc on my way there.

But, amazingly, he didn't seem mad.

Roc: *kisses Lexi* Mornin' boo.

I stood there shocked and dumbfounded for a second.

Roc: Uhm.. Lexi? You okay?

Me: Err.. yeah. Yeah, i'm good. Hold up.

I ran down to Princeton's room and barged in. He laid sprawled all over his bed only wearing boxers. A small part of my head was admiring how good he looked now, but the better part pushed that thought away.

Me: PRINCETON!

He lifted his head and slowly opened his eyes.

Prince: Uh, yeah?

His voice was deep and raspy, because he'd just woke up.

It kinda sounded sexy.

But I pushed that thought away, too.

Me: Did you tell Roc?

Princeton opened his eyes fully, and ran his hand through his hair.

Prince: No, why would I do that?

Me: Wait, what?

Princeton got up and sat on the side of the bed, keeping his eyes right at mine.

Prince: Roc would be really mad if he found out, and I don't wanna be the one to ruin you guys' perfect relationship.

I couldn't help but smile.

Me: Really?...

Princeton got up to his feet and nodded.

Me: That's sweet..

Prince: Yeah, yeah. Well you and Roc are two of my best friends, so I kinda am obligated to be nice to yall.

Me: *giggle* Sure.

I slapped his chest and spun on my heel to leave the room.

Me: Hurry if you want some cereal.

Prince: Aight.

And I closed the door behind me.

I was overjoyed; Roc was still my boo.

I ran to him and jumped on his back, kissing his cheek.

Roc: AYYY! Lexi! What the hell? You scared me!

I laughed. His voice was so cute.

Lexi: Sorry, baby.

Roc: Aww.. I can't stay mad at you.

He returned the kiss on the cheek before passing me a bowl of cereal.

Roc: So, we gon' figure out how to get Prod in Maryland.

Me: Oh you ain't know? I already got Prod's plane and he ardy left.

Roc: Fo' real?

Me: Mhmm..

Roc: Aww.. I didn't get to say goodbye.

Me: Aww, it's okay, boo.

I gave him a peck on the lips.
