Mountains of Lies

You said you'd never leave,
But like leaves in the trees,
You have detached yourself from me.

You made promises I fell in love with,
They where refreshing like waters from the summit;
And I was foolish enough to drink it.

All this times I have adored you like the Northern Lights,
And I have painted you so colorfully in my life,
But all you have done is give me mountains of lies.
