There was something in your words when you said it.
Like a spark of hope that I needed.
You said you would always remember me
Even if you had your own family.

Up to now I still hold those words like a candle in the dark.
Just to get me through a rough day.
Those words together sounded like choirs of angels.
But also somehow it showed me the work of the devil.

Take me somewhere where our lips can meet without the feeling of guilt lurking our faces.
Pull me close and make my heart beat faster than it should.
Be the stardust in my eyes, be my solitude.
Be the one to fix all of these broken promises.
