Waiting Tragedy

I love the way your names dances on my tongue,

and how you take the oxygen out of my lungs,

I know that this all leads to a dead end,

But  can I just enjoy the ride and pretend,

That we're more than just friends?

So hold my hands longer than our hearts should allow,

And keep on talking until it feels like no one else is around.

I don't know what you're doing to me, but I like it.

It's a waiting tragedy. Should I like it?
