Hallowed out, empty word, echoed through his head.
Faint smiles and and hand shakes,
all meant nothing when he went down the lit up stage.
2 years to get up and rise above the clouds.
5 minutes to take it all down with fading trophies and crowns.
Time slowed down as they all got the awards they deserved.
Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations.
What a meaningless word.
