Today Jimmy, John and I got up a bit early so we could wrap our presents for Robert. I didn't know what everyone else had gotten him but I had a feeling he would like my present. I put a stack of Special Edition Playboy's into a small box that I wrapped in red paper and I put a pink bow on top just for fun. John had a long rectangular shaped, poorly wrapped green present, with a purple ribbon tied tightly around it. Jimmy was the best gift wrapper. He had a small box, perfectly wrapped in golden paper, with a purple bow on it. We put our gifts in the middle of the table by the window and woke Robert up. "Good morning birthday boy!" We yelled. Robert winced "Not so loud guys, and thank you." Robert said groggily. We all grabbed our gifts and headed down to the lobby for a free breakfast. "You guys didn't have to get me anything." Robert said modestly. "Okay, I'll just get rid of the presents then." I said as I stood up. "No! I never said I didn't want them! I just said you didn't have to get me anything! If you take my presents I'll beat the hell out of you!" Robert said as he stood up. We all laughed as I sat back down. "I wanna open the gold one first!" Robert exclaimed. "That's from me." Jimmy said as he handed Robert his gift. Robert tore the beautiful gold paper to shreds like a monster. "Woah!" Robert exclaimed as he opened the box and lifted out a gold necklace with a bass drum charm on it. He looked closer and saw his name was engraved into the face of the drum. "Wow! This is amazing! It must've been really expensive!" Robert said as he put the necklace on. "Eh, anything for one of my best friends." Jimmy said with a smile. "Open mine!" John said in a giggly child-like voice. "Okay!" Robert said, just as juvenile. I handed Robert the horribly wrapped present that said "From John" on the top. Robert unwrapped it viciously he made a sort of indifferent face. "Maybe I should've opened this one before Jimmy's." Robert mumbled as he held up a pair of his own drum sticks. "I wasn't sure what to get you so, I went through your stuff and saw them! I figured you must like them since you already had them!" John said with a smile. "Thanks, John." Robert said sarcastically. We all laughed as I handed him my gift. "Oooh! The biggest one! I wonder what It is!" Robert said as he shook the box, only to hear nothing. He attacked the wrapping paper and bow and then, his mouth dropped. "Woah... Is it?" Robert asked with a surreal look on his face. I nodded and said "It's a box full of Special Edition Playboys." Robert was so happy. "Oh my god! This is f-cking awesome!!! Thank you so much, Aaron!" Robert exclaimed as he hugged me violently. Everyone laughed as we got up to get some more food. "Happy birthday." each of us said to Robert as we passed him stealing almost every piece of sausage. "Snort Snort!" Jimmy said, reminding Robert that sausage is made from cute piggies. "Shut up! It's my birthday, man!" Robert whined. Jimmy chuckled and proceeded down the line of food. When we were done eating we went back up to our rooms realizing that all of the girls were still passed out in bed. "Let 'em sleep. They need the rest." John said with a wink. We all sat around watching TV when a knock came upon the door. "I'll get it." Jimmy said as he stood up. Jimmy was shocked when he opened the door. "Um, Robert. It's for you." Jimmy said nervously. Robert walked over to the door to find Alexys. "Happy Birth-Where are your pants?" She asked. "Um... That's really a very good question, love." Robert said before engulfing her in a hug. "How about we go down to the pool and chat. "Well, okay but, I was hoping to meet the band." Alexys told him. "Well, you see, they're all really stoned right now. So, we should give them a bit to sober up." Robert said tossing her suitcase into their room. Robert took her hand and practically dragged her to the pool. "What's the rush, Rob?" Alexys asked him. "Nothing, there's just a really good table at the pool and I want to make sure we get it." Robert said with a smile. The two sat at the pool for about two minutes before Robert said "Oh! I forgot! I have to make a quick phone call. Don't go anywhere!" Robert said as he hurried over to the pay phones. "Jimmy! Get the girls out of there!" Robert said in a loud whisper. "I'll tell you later just get the girls out! Aaron's can stay but especially my girl needs to get out!" Robert yelled in a hushed voice, careful not to let Alexys hear him. "Thank you. We're at the pool and she wants to meet you guys so come down when you're done." Robert whispered as he hung up the phone. "Who was that?" Alexys asked Robert as he sat down. "Oh, I just wanted to make sure that once the guys get cleaned up they came down to meet you, love." Robert reassured her. "Oh! Okay! I can't wait to meet them!" Alexys exclaimed. "So, how've you been? How's touring? How is everything?" Alexys asked excitedly. "Well, I've been good. Busy, obviously. Touring is good. I love playing for these huge crowds. How'd you get here?" Robert said, the coffee was kicking in. The two talked for a few minutes before the rest of the guys walked out onto the pool deck. "Hey guys!" Robert said waving his hands in the air. John waved his arms in mimicry of Robert. Robert lifted up his hand and gave John "the bird". "Hey! Be nice!" Alexys said jokingly as she stood up to greet the guys. Not surprised to see Maureen draped over my arms, Alexys tried to make friends with her. Maureen liked Alexys but, she was still far too tired to converse and be friendly. "Hi!" Alexys said shaking Jimmy's hand. "I'm Alexys, what's your name?" Alexys said happily. Alexys loved music. It was her life. Since Alexys family wouldn't let her play music, she became a Rock 'n' Roll photographer. After John was done hitting on her, Alexys said "Say, would you guys mind if I got a picture of you guys? I'm a photographer and if I could get some good shots of you, I could help promote Society and stuff.". Each of the guys agreed to a photo. Alexys took a few photos of the band together then she took some pictures of the guys individually. John of course being the goof he is, was doing the stupidest poses and of course some sexy ones. "Hey, I'm sorry if I seemed like a bitch earlier. Aaron had just woke me up and I was still half asleep when I first got down here." Maureen said sincerely to Alexys. "Please, it's fine! Don't worry about it. Not, to pry or anything but, how'd you meet Aaron? He really likes you, I can tell. He looks at you the way Robert looks at me." Alexys said to Maureen as she fiddled with her short, mod style, hair. "Well, I'm a groupie." Maureen said sounding a bit embarrassed. "Oh, well that's cool!" Alexys said, genuinely okay with the fact that she was a groupie. Alexys was really cool, everyone liked her. "Robert? Can I talk to you real quick?" Alexys said with a smile. "Do you really think I'm that stupid?" Alexys said. "What? What are you talking about?" Robert said wearily. "You know very well what I'm talking about. I saw the girls in your room." She said sternly. "Oh. That. Wait! You saw them?! Damn it!" Robert said angrily. "Yes, I saw them. Just keep in mind that at any moment I could show up. Okay?" Alexys said cleverly. "I'm sorry, but the guys talked me into it! Don't be mad!" Robert whined. "Robert! Relax! I'm not mad. Just know that at any moment I could show up and if you have more girls in your room, I won't be too happy." She told him. Robert nodded and kissed her. "We gotta get ready, the show is at 7. You're coming with us, right?" Robert said to her feeling like a little boy that just got caught stealing a bunch of cookies before dinner. "Hell yeah! Maureen's coming too, right?" Alexys said happily. Robert nodded as he got ready to go. The band was in the lobby at 5:45 waiting for Michael. "Are you, uh, Society?" a young man from the front desk asked us. "That depends. Who wants to know?" Jimmy said quickly. "Um I have a message from a Michael Knighton for Society." the man said shyly. "What is it?" I said, honestly a bit worried. "Here." the young man said as he handed me a piece of paper and scampered away.

The note read "Hey boys, I'm sorry I'm going to be a bit late for your show. I've arranged for a car to get you ten minutes before 6:00. So be ready! If you're late, I'll know."

We all hurried outside dragging the chatty girls behind us. We got into a car seconds after we got outside. When we went on stage Maureen and Alexys were still talking. To our surprise, they were still talking when we were done playing.
