My Hideaway (Poem)

Sometimes when I'm alone, and even when I'm not

I like to take some time and read aloud

There isn't always a right or wrong place to do it, because I do it a lot

It's become so natural to me

But I've found one place, the perfect spot

A place I'm taken whenever I read aloud

It isn't any castle grand or any big land plot

It's nowhere far away, it's nowhere exotic,

Sometimes it's cold, sometimes it's hot

Can you guess where my hide away is?

It's not as large as a hall or as small as a cot

It has a cosy bed and books galore; it's not the library or the big Tescos store
