Sitting on the edge of glory,
Peering over the side
I shall be the candle thrown in darkness
That explodes with Herculean light
Tipping to the cliff of fame
Ready to take the fall
I shall be the trodden underdog
That amazes and astounds them all
Leaning in the abyss of victory
Staring at the future pain
I pray my success is permanent
And doesn't moodily wane
Plunging into the dim future
Seeing it rush back
I come prepared to make it good
There's nothing for happiness I don't lack
