Noah handed Beau over a bottle of cola mixed with rum, and then opened one himself. We all ended up going separate ways from the hotel and so it was only the three of us and Perry in the car. Distracted with the drink, I pulled my hand away from Beaus and flexed it, trying to get the blood circulating again.

“You don’t have to do this Angel; it’s going to change things for you.” Beau quickly grabbed it back as the pins and needles ended.

“It’s going to be fine Beau. At least this way, we have more control over how it’s done.”

Noah groaned and looked away as we kissed; it was easy to forget he was there when Beau kissed me like that. Musicians really are passionate people.

“Now I know why everyone else left.” He grumbled from his seat opposite us and I blushed, holding Beau back. The rum wasn’t his first drink after the concert and it only made him more eager.

“We’re almost there, last chance Bec.” Perry undid his seatbelt and despite being night time, put on his sunglasses.

I only nodded, and finally held Beau’s hand as tight as he had been holding mine.

“Do not let go, Noah is going to be right behind us and listen to what ever Perry says.” Beau had already said that a million times, only now it was really about to happen. I snatched his rum and took a huge gulp, finishing the bottle and Perry took it from my hand to sit in the cup holder on his door.

The car stopped and I regretted the drink, my nerves had got the better of me and I wanted to throw up.

“I love you Angel.”

Before I could respond the screaming crowd made it impossible to hear anything and Perry’s hand appeared to help me out. The more familiar paparazzi recognized Perry so knew who was going to be coming out of the car next and thanks to my appearance first, the cameras were put to work.

A new round of shrill screaming sounded at Beau and then Noah came out behind me, Beaus grip was like iron on my hand and he guided me to his side. His arm went behind my back and he held my waist protectively and gave everyone a wave.

“I love you Beau!” His fans shouted and I looked to Perry who started to guide us towards the clubs entrance. Unlike the after party we met at, this one wasn’t being held at one of De Lucca’s properties. One of the concerts sponsored wanted it held at their club and considering how much they put up for the concert to even happen, it was a tiny detail in the contract. The downside to this was, crowd control wasn’t as tight as it had been at De Lucca’s and this event had been advertised so all the fans would be able to catch a closer glimpse of their idols.

“Beau, who is the girl?”

The reporters knew the right questions to ask, forgetting about the set or their tour plans; I was the hot topic. Even Noah got hit with questions about me, was I related? Did he worry I could break up the band? Did he have a girlfriend?

The question as to whether or not I was pregnant had my arm going around my rather flat stomach defensively. Perry mentioned something to a couple of them as we passed and they all nodded, smiling like they won the jackpot. Noah stopped to sign a few autographs as we headed down the make do red carpet, and so did Beau, dragging me along with him.

I wasn’t going to complain though, separating from him would probably have me curled up on the floor and completely freaking out. The noise was unrelenting, the camera flashes could send anyone into some kind of fit and never one for being in big crowds, I felt claustrophobic. The panic was probably all over my face and Beau stopped what he was doing to make sure I was ok and it then after a moment of ‘just breath’ thoughts, I realized someone was talking to me.
